I got my new glv yesterday. Kinda disappointed in the paint job, there are a couple nicks in it and it is much darker than the paint job on my super mini, despite both being blue/purple flipflop. It looks black in most light, you have to stick it up under a light bulb to see any purple. But I figured I could live with that. Then I attached a voltage meter to it to see if it was regulated to 5v as it was supposed to be and the reading I got was 8.0 volts. At first I thought it must be my meter, so I tried it on several other devices and got good readings on those, tried the glv again and got the same 8.0 -- That's a little hot for me. I'm using 2 of the batteries recommended (IMR 3.7 Protected) for it and even if it wasn't regulated, it should only be 7.4v --- what's up with this?
