If I had a 14 year old son who was smoking ...
I would slap an eGo in his hand without giving the Nanny State a 2nd thought !!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the mentality of, "Well the kid's smoking, but I'll work on getting him on a safer product after he turns 18" doesn't make a lot of sense.

LOL! That's how I got started. Think we can sue BC (big candy)?

Wait - candy cigarettes got you to start smoking or eating too much candy?

If candy cigarettes actually led you to smoke, you'd be the first person I've ever heard of who started smoking under those circumstances!

I ate plenty candy cigarettes as a kid, but they never made me want to try real cigarettes. Besides, as kids, we used anything cigarette or cigar shaped as play smokes. From straws, sticks, Pixie Stix, licorice, sucker handles, Lincoln Logs - you name it. None of it made me want to try that first cigarette once I was in my mid-to-late teens. By the time I tried smoking, candy cigarettes were long forgotten! ;)

I used to dip french fries in ketchup at McDonalds and pretend that the ketchup was red burning tobacco. I also used to "play smokes" with pretzels because the inside of a pretzel simulated loose ash from a cigarette. I would flick the dust-like particles on the ground like I was flicking ash from an analog.
