Do the 801 and the 901 have the same threads i have a 901 battery and want to get some cartomizers for it but i cant seem to find 901 cartomizers.

I think KR808D threads are the same as 901 threads but are different with regard to airflow slots? There is an incredibly affortable adapter for fitting KR8 carto's on 901 batts here... PV Adapters

801 and 901 are not the same threads. 801s are somewhat wider.

I agree - they have different adapters for 801 and 901 so they must be different.

You stick a 901 to 808 (aka 901 to KR808D-1) adapter on the 901 to provide the air inlets and use KR808D-1 cartos (blanks or Vapor4Life prefilled ones)

In the opposite direction, a KR808D-1 (or Vapor4Life.com in colors) battery can use dse901 atomizers directly because the air inlet hole is provided in the atomizer.

If you really specifically want to use 801 cartos (no idea why since KR8 has a much larger variety of cartos) you could get a 901 to 801 adapter

Will the cartos from vapor4life fit a DSE 905 or a DSE 901 there the only two devices i have and i would like to use cartos.

Not without an adapter. As far as I know, the 901 and KR808D-1 threading is the same. The problem is the air access for the cartomizer. I believe you must use a 901 to KR808D-1 adapter like I linked above to use Vapor4Life cartos on a 901 - not to fix the threading but to provide the air notches needed to be able to let air get to the bottom hole of the cartomizer. I believe if you screw a Vapor4Life carto on a 901 battery without the adapter then it will fit but you will not be able to suck air through it.

Alternately, you could replace your 901 batteries and use KR808D-1/Vapor4Life batteries which can use both the Vapor4Life cartos AND the DSE901 atomizer with no adapter.

From what i've read, KR8 batts sound like a good thing. Full voltage, nice choice of sizes, and the biggest one has a very respectable capacity (380 mah). If i were a skinny batt user, i think these would them for me.

The KR808D-1/Vapor4Life batteries
shorty - 180mah (same life as standard 510)
standard - 280mah (same life as 510 mega xl)
xl - 380mah but they don't fit in the PCC
