Hi Guys,
I received my 801 today, Thanx! 7 days from order to delivery, not bad and seems to be the same amt of time from EVERYWHERE I order. Apparently I live in a geographical oddity, 7 days from anywhere. LOL.
Order arrived in good condition, everything seems to work. Haven't tried the charger yet as it arrived with batteries charged. Comes in a nice box, and the power cord is under the e-cig itself so the rest of you don't panic and think you were shipped one without the cord like I did for a minute b4 I found it. Unit works well with good vapor production, it does seem to take a slightly different vaping method than my 901's. I have to use a "primer" puff like they show on the video reviews which I almost never do with the 901. Battery and cart life is better than the 901, as it should be because the 801 is a good bit larger. Overall I'm happy with it, planned use is at home while carrying the 901 to town etc.
Overall I rate it 4 out of 5, but only because I'm not accustomed to using a primer puff. I give the supplier a 5 of 5, I know some of you might disagree but I can only rate on the experience I've had. Having had no problems I'm not qualified to rate cust service.

Thanks Ya'll :)

Ha! I know that obscure reference! O' Brother Where Art Thou? Funny stuff. The Cohen Bros. are genius.

Keep working with the 801. Once you get used to it, it's the best.

I was wondering if anybody was gonna catch that one. A version of The Odyssey I actually like! Funny as H3ll!

On another note it looks like I'm gonna get to comment on PS's customer service. The atty on my 801 died today, I sent an email and am waiting for a reply. I realize they're backed up like everyone else so I'm not expecting a really speedy reply. According to the manual it isn't really an 801, it's a RN4072. Also according to another supplier the factory is no longer honoring the warranty on these so apparently there has been a lot of bad ones. I went back to my 901, but I'm already missing the 4072. They were out of attys when I ordered the kit (still are) and I ordered attys and bats from another supplier yesterday so I will have it going again b4 long. Since customs is trying to choke off our supply I won't be surprised or mad if PS can't honor their warranty, but it'll be nice if they can. I'll update this thread when I find out something.

I received an answer to my email today instructing me to return the bad atty and they would replace it. 1 day to reply to an email is very acceptable to me, so cust service is doing what they should in my book. I'll get the atty in the mail tomorrow and post when I receive a replacement for anyone interested in turnaround time.

Ok, Here's how it went: I sent the bad atomizer back on 4/16, I received a replacement on 4/18. Which means they had to have shipped it out b4 they received the bad one, I did use delivery confirmation and I sent them the tracking #, but I'm guessing they sent the replacement out b4 they even got that. I don't know if they respond this well in all cases but I'm impressed. I know there are several people complaining on this forum, but as far as my experience with their customer service, they get a 5 of 5 rating. The replacement atomizer is doing great, it seems even better than the first one I got. Still gotta use that pesky primer puff, seems like waste of juice to me. I'm willing to deal with it because it gives a really great hit with huge clouds of vapor, and it really doesn't waste THAT much. So after a few days of using it I still give it a 4 of 5, which is a pretty high rating coming from me.

Thanks Casey and all the folks at PS!

You're lucky as they won't even respond to me now. Mine wouldn't work right out of the box and obviously since they sent you replacement parts they do have some in stock, but, the last email response I got from PS on 04/15 said they had nothing in stock for at least another 10 business days. They seem to not be interested in responding to me as I haven't heard from them since then, even after two more emails from me. I am becoming a very unhappy customer!
