You say "808 atomizer." '808' is one of the abbreviations used for the KR808D-1 model, but it takes an integrated cartridge/atomizer usually referred to as a 'cartomizer.' I've sometimes seen '808' as a typo for '801', i.e., the DSE801 penstyle, which uses an 'atomizer.' I see that Ecigsupply carries both models. Of the two, the KR808D-1 cartomizer is more likely to "burn your lip."

You don't mention anything about an adapter, but I can only assume that you purchased one. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to screw the cartomizer (or an 801 atty) on the 510 battery.

I'm not sure how effective the relatively weak 510 battery would be powering a cartomizer, which is designed to be used with the more powerful Kr8 battery. But I would be surprised if that were to cause the cartomizer to become especially hot. I see that Ecigsupply only sells blank cartomizers. Are you sure that you are filling them correctly and sufficiently with e-liquid? That might very well create the problem you describe.

Offhand, I'd suggest that you purchase a couple Kr8 batteries (or that inexpensive Kr8 PT that I see Ecigsupply sells) to use with those cartomizers. Ecigsupply doesn't seem to carry Kr8 batts and they're out of stock on the kits. Some of the suppliers of these batteries (and filled cartomizers) include Vapor4Life, NHaler, CigEasy, LiteCigUSA, Puresmoker, Good Prophets, VaporNine, VaporKings, and LeCig. [Those are just the ones I've dealt with.]

OR try to sell those cartormizers in the Classifieds forum here ... then forget cartridges and just drip with your 510.
