Hey guys and gals, been a real long time since I visited ECF.

Not sure if this has been posted here yet, but I randomly stumbled on this $9 Hobo V3 clone with a bottom feeding swap pin included.

I just ordered one. At $9, not much of a gamble me thinks. Looks good to me though, we shall see...

I would like the Hobo V3, but I am big time broke right now. I hear they are good. But if I remember right, you must use the drip tip that comes with it.

Not on this one. I like the two post design on this rda, or at least I do in "theory" lol. Looking forward to giving it a spin.

It's whatever. A $9 bottom feeding atty popped up during the random occasion I was searching across the web for 15 minutes to see what's new, which I haven't done in a long while, and thought I would share. I'm definitely not used to seeing "bottom feed" when looking, so there?

In most all cases, such as the RM2 through RM7, they are modded RDAs that operate beyond the scope of the original design. AKA, "bottom feed."

Well this is not good.
Just got my Hobo V3 from Angle Cigs.
Had a solid SS pin, no BF pin included.
Sent an e-mail, hope their customer service is good........

Mine came with the BF pin... that stuck up into the chamber several mm. I took some wire cutters and cut it down. squonks fine. There is no way that base is ss. Feels like aluminum. Threads are crappy, and it's kind of a dumb design if you ask me (noone did, I realize...) I don't like how the bottom threaded part is threaded the same way as the 510. So if you unscrew it, you may unscrew the atty, or the center sleeve. If you screw the sleeve down as far as it can go, the air holes don't line up with the middle of the posts.
All that being said, it's a pretty easy build, and vapes just fine. Quite nice, actually.

Pretty much. Would've been super irritated if I had spent more, but hell, I've spent $9 on worse. Glad I went with the clone first, wouldn't by the authentic based on the design. But once you have it all set up, it's not bad.

Sounds about right, a gamble, but not that much of an expensive one. I was more or less just surprised to see a BF atty pop up after taking a hiatus from looking at anything at all for so long.

I got my shipping notice from Angel 6/09, and it is still in lingo as "shipping label created in Freemont, Cali" according to tracking, so I guess you truly get what you pay for in ALL China cases.

China... lol

Who can blame a REO user for staying away from anything current, when the product we hold in our hands works so damn well it allows us to step away from it all for such long periods of time?

They actually aren't bad at all! Good flavor outta these things. The posts are kinda far apart though.
