I bought a kit 3 months ago which came with two ego batteries. How long should a battery last?
I have been letting mine dwindle to almost nothing like I do my cell phone.
Not sure if you know what the "mAh" rating of 900 means.
MAh stands for mili-amp hours. 100 mAh = 1 hour of battery use (average) between charges. Therefore, a 900 mAh battery can be expected to be used for 9 hours.
An easier way to understand the mAh rating is to just knock off the last two digits of the rating, and that will give you the hours you can expect from your battery.
I do the same thing. Drain completely(button blinks) then recharge. I thought that recharging the battery when only half drained would cause "memory" and shorten the amount of time you get from each charge. Same as cell phone batts.
My batteries are 1100 mAh (at least that was the designation of the kit I purchased) but I don't get anywhere near 11 hours out of a charge. Closer to 4, maybe 5. As I stated in an earlier post, I'm pretty sure my batteries are knock-offs so that could explain the discrepancy. They charge in about 2 hours which seems like a short time to fully charge an 1100 mAh battery.
And I'm not a heavy vaper (at least I don't think so). Maybe go through 3 or 4 mls a day.
If you're using low resistance cartomizers/clearos that will greatly reduce the length of the charge. Some say by about half.
I'm using 2.4-2.6 ohm CE3 clearos. Are those considered LR? I haven't really dug too deep into the whole ohms/volts issue.
