901 and 510 cartridge tips interchangeable?

My 901 cart tip is working well (so far) on my 510 atomizer.

Are they officially interchangeable?

Lots of people used to do this before the 510 came out with flat tip cartridges.

There are 2 types of 901 carts. One has a D shape inside and the other has a 0 shape. I THINK only the 0 shape ones will work on a 510 as the D will hit against the atty bridge and melt.

I used the "D Shape" in my 510 without an issue. Though I have recently started cutting the flat side of the D so that it is spiked to prevent issues of juice in the mouth. Cant remember who suggested it, but it WORKED!

I've been using only 901 flat tips on both 901s and 510s for over 9 months now with no worries and no melted carts. (If that helps ya out any )

What do you mean by "spiked"?
I use 901 D tips also with my 510 gear.

I've had a "D" shaped cart that I've used in one of my 510's, for a couple months. I just line up the straight line of the "D" parallel with the bridge. I haven't noticed any melting.

I like the feel of the flatter tip. My main set-ups have the GG AFS metal tips. They're round, but they're small diameter.

The two models are 100% interchangable for the cartridges. And there are addapters for the atty's available that make the whole thing interchangable.
