901 Atomizer - How to use?

So I want to give Dripping a try again. I have a lot of flavors I want to try without filling up my tanks. So I ordered a 901 atomizer with a drip shield and a 510 adapter (sealed) from empire mods.

Can someone please tell me how to work this properly so I don't burn my atomizer right off the bat? It happened to me with a 510 atomizer I tried and it tastes horrible with every juice I tried. Burnt taste everywhere. I would like to avoid that with this new gear.

My method:: you will need to start off with the voltage all the way down (mech mod and partialy drained batt/spinner/twist/or a V V), put some water from the kettle (or sterile/de ionised) water onto the coil area (this will help the Eliquid to start wicking onto the coil immediately-as PG and VG are hygroscopic), after the coil has 'bedded in' the 'gunk' will prevent the coil heating too fast and giving a burnt taste.

So I got my 901 and here are my results... WOW! Thank you! I followed your guidelines priming and readying the atomizer. It works! no burnt taste! The vape is so warm (way different than my protanks cool vape). The flavors do seem to explode initially. I'm still learning when I have to put a few more drops before I get a slight burnt taste. I love that I can change flavors effortlessly. Now my Alice in Vapeland sample pack doesn't get wasted and I can just put my package of 'lil bit of everything' in front of me and try new flavors easily.

This is exactly what I was hoping for! My nights are now spent savoring the flavors. My tanks still are my main go to for traveling. Can't see myself dripping out on the town. But this has been perfect for me at night!

I wonder how long my atomizer should last? I probably should order a few more.

I could usually get 901's to last a good month or so. They are a great atty for dripping if you are looking for flavor! If you wanted more of a throat hit the 306 or 510 are a bit better. My go to's are 801's (112's) they give you the best of both worlds!
