901 atomizer questions

Hello!

I am looking into getting a 901 atomizer to go onto my halo g6 battery which i think is an 808? I have a friend who drips and loves it and I wuold like to try it out but Halo doesn't sell the atomizers anymore. I have done some research and checked out some other threads on here and have discovered that the 901 atomizer will work on the halo battery. If this is wrong let me know. My main question is what kind of 901 atomizer should I get, I did some searching and they come in all different resistances and voltages and I don't want to buy the wrong one to work on my battery. Also what would be the best site to buy from, I prefer a USA company.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Been a long time since I've used a 901...but here's my take.

If it's a manual battery, you might be ok. I say might, because I'm fairly sure the g6 uses a horizontal coil in it's cartos...If I'm not mistaken, they dialed down the voltage on those a hair as to not damage the carto. I think vapor 4 life batteries would start around 4 v and then creep down to around 3.7... Smokeless image and other horizontal coil types (g6 and a few others I can't think of) start around 3.5v? (maybe) and then creep down. I tell you this, because you may not get a satisfying hit with an atty...maybe after taking a few warm up hits..but Idk.

I bought one from vapor kings and one from nhaler. I like vapor kings because i can use my own drip tip but the both vape the same and cost within a buck of each other. I use mine on a 5 volt non battery 808 manual passthru and i know you want to go any lower than standard ohm. 2.00. -2.50 ohm will be good. Youll probably be able to do long slow draw typical vaping style. On my 5 volt i end the draw more quickly so i dont get to a burning point. It was brought to my attention that the 901 has a decreased throat hit but the vapor and flavor are better. This has played out to be generally true o far. Also vaper kings has more color options but one might be better made than the other for longevity. I dont know.
