Any day now I'll be receiving my 901 atomizer from litecigusa.net. I ordered this to try new juices on my Halo G6 battery… I've gone through too many cartomizers testing out new liquids. Can anyone tell me if this particular atomizer requires the "priming" that I've read so many other PV attys require?

Thanks.

Sorry, can't comment on that particular atty...however, with my joyetech 510 atty's I blow out any excess primer, drip 3 drops of juice and take 5 hits or so before I inhale.

How are you liking the g6? I'm thinking of buying one for a friend. I've been dealing with halo on their juices for a year and they are top notch, so I have a feeling you are liking it.

cheers,

Only use a drip tip on a manual battery. Hopefully you got a drip tip or cartridges.

It probably comes with primer which is nasty and tastes like machine oil. *Blow out the atomizer into a tissue, prime with 3-4 drops on the bridge /\, let that soak in, vape mostly off without inhaling (never vape an atty dry, use drip tip or empty cartridge as mouthpiece). Repeat from *. Repeat again and try inhaling.

Warning - 901 attys have an air intake hole in the side - juice may leak out of that.

gatorfan, I really like the G6. The starter kit is an amazing value for what you get and out of all the juices I've tried, none have matched Halo's quality. I have three g6 batteries (one manual and two automatic). An auto and manual short battery came with the kit but I ordered the other automatic because I favored it over my manual surprisingly enough. On my first PV (V4L Kr808), I favored the manual since the V4L automatic wasn't nearly as smooth and easy to drag on as the Halo automatic. I have to charge frequently but thats expected and luckily I have three to choose from while one is charging. I'm waiting for a good hardware sale at Halo to order their G6 PCC. Oh, and the G6 cartomizers are top notch, best I've tried so far.

Yeah - watch for the hole. And I recommend rinsing and blowing out and repriming your atomizer frequently - maybe every day - because the coil compartment is fairly sealed up - hard to clean them once they get gunked up. Also be very careful not to turn the atomizer on so far that the barrel rotates around its threaded end - that can cause a plastic armature in the coil compartment to block the air intake.

One more question about dripping on an atty. Since I've never dripped before and am doing so that I can try mixing 2 juices to create a nice menthol tobacco blend, would you recommend that I drip both juices individually on the atomizer? Or should I combine my juices in one small plastic bottle and then drip?

Soulfood,

It is a good idea to prime your brand new Atty with the juice you re going to first use in the Atty. I put a carto condom on the threaded end of the Atty, then I fill the Atty up to the bridge, and let it sit for good 15-30 min. Then I take off the Carto condom and blow out the Atty. This technique will properly prime the internals of your Atty ( Any Atty ) thus not letting your wick get burnt and just properly ready the Atty, it is totally ready to drip now. I have been using this method for a long time and it works. Give it a whirl

When changing to a new flavor it's good to blow it out then do the same by putting some PG/VG in the Atty, let it sit for a bit then blow that out, then start with a fresh juice.
