Is there such a thing as a 901 carto? I am really loving my 510 cartos, and would like to have 901's as well, but I haven't seen them anywhere. TIA!

Sorry, can't answer that question...it's been too long since I've used a 901 atty...I'm using the E2 kr808 XL ceramics and they do run hot if you vape constantly.
you really should get an adapter to use 808d-1 cartos on a 901 batt. It has a small air hole like the one in the 901 atty. 808d-1s draw air throught small slot in battery connector that a 901 doesn't have. You can use a 901 atty on a 808d-1 batt no problem.
Sounds like a plan then! soon as I get the budget, i am going to try the 808 cartos... hahahaha I need more stuff! I love shopping for ecig stuff.
I think the 901 runs at less voltage than an 808 that runs at 3.7V. Maybe that would be a good thing? I do use 808's on my 901 thread dse 905, w/ an adapter, that also is 3.7V. Anyway, the lower V 901 batt might make for a cooler more flavorful vape... maybe?
Oh, but now there all kindsa new kinds of 808 cartos. I just have the old kind. And, many say there is a big diff even in some suppliers old design cartos. It's all kinda comfusin.

I like cooler & more flavorful vapes! I just ordered a 808 kit & 808 premium cartos as well to try on my 901. I've only tried the regular 510 I started with & the 901 regualr batts, and my 901 5v PT. Still exploring! I really like the 901 attys, but I also think my 510 cartos are much nicer to deal with than carts. I am hoping to combine the best of both with the 808 carto on the 901 batts. Dunno. I am really enjoying experimenting though! SO much more fun than smoking ever was. 
Nighthawk, so where did you decide to order those from? I have 808 cartos but not sure if they are premium? I do not have any 808 batts. I have heard that some of those batts are better than others.

I ordered them from litecig, as I have gotten good 510 cartos from them before and the prices were great! I don't know how the 808's are going to be, because I've never had any before but I am hopeful! They might be here monday if the postal gods are smiling. they were shipped out today (friday).

But oh, I wonder what makes those cartos "premium"? And, to use them on 901 stuff you will need a carto adapter. I like my 808s just fine. Mine might be just regular ones? I and use them on my 905 that has the same threads as a 901.

I don't know what a premium is either, but those were the ones in stock! I also have ordered a carto adapter from another vendor. I didn't know the 905 would work with the 901's! Thanks for the info! There is so much out there about the 510 that the other's have gotten sidelined in the information stream. I got started with 510, and it's fine. For me I think it vapes a bit too hot for my liking. And I am enjoying exploring the other models out there. It's all good imo, all of them are better than smoking ever was. I love the flavors, the clean vapor exhales and how I feel physically now. It's a very happy hobby instead of a smelly vice.

Keep an eye on the new m601. It is said to be the 401's big brother. Most agree that the 401 had the best flavor of any egig but the carts are so small and tricky to fill. The 601 is bigger so maybe???
I am also watching the new X-Power. W/ tha right addy or carto it might work great?
There is so much new stuff coming out that it is mind boggling!

I got one 510/901 adaptor from the vapor store, and it hasn't worked. I got a 808/901 adaptor from madvapes and it also didn't work. I don't know what's up with that. I tried the 808 adaptor on both my pv & pt which were from different vendors no luck. very annoying as I wanted to use the 808 cartos on the 901. bleh. ah well, since I also got an 808 kit, it's not going to waste.

I think you got the wrong adapter. You need a 901/808. The 808 needs the vents the 901 doesn't have. Adapters are battery/atty.
Bert is right. Nighthawk, you might not have gotten the "carto" adapter. It is diff than a reg 808 adapter. It has holes like Bert said. Tell us again what you are trying to hook to what and we will help I hope. I bet your supplier will let you trade them maybe?
