Noone has done one & posted, so I thought I'd give it a shot. This is the 9v Box w/on-off switch. The pictures in that link don't show the slide switch, but it's there.:) The spring came from the C battery box. I had to trim the plate on the spring, it was blocking the latch slot. I used the positive terminal in the 9v box, but not the negative one. The piece of plastic they are connected to is removable, so I filed out a small indention for the wires to run under it. The battery is an 18350. I can get a 9+ hour workday out of one of these. If you modify these battery contacts a little, you could probably squeeze a 14500 in there & still have the built in on/off switch. Or, just slide out the 9v battery contacts. The connector is an 808-D/901. If you use a 901 to 510 adapter, you can vape cartos, 901s, & 510s with this one box. The connector is epoxied to the outside instead of mounting it flush or inside because I have Joye 510s & they get hot. I don't want to melt the box!8-o The switch? I have no idea where I got it. I thought I got it at mad vapes, but couldn't find them.

I normally like the slender boxes(got these on the way), but I like this setup. It works great & I've finally got something that will outlast a carto.

Sorry for the green carto, it was nearby...

Great work ! Looks like a very clean and well made mod.

Not that i'm an expert..but i do like the looks and cleanness of it. and..the side switch..i like that idea.

Good Job :)

Thank you. I like the switch on the side. The box seems to handle better that way.

I bet that would be a massive plume of vapor, not to mention the throat hit. At least for one good hit!

The "got these on the way" in my other post is a link. Looks like I was just in time.:)

Thank you. I've got a couple more of those switches, somewhere. I think maybe they were in my 1st mod order...

Nice looking Box Mod.
I wish the 510 carts came in cool colors.

Thanks.
I've been looking at the 'covering' on the carts. Isn't it basically just a wax covered address label or something like that? Surely there is something out there that we could put on the cartos & customize them. It'd be kool if we could find something that could be run through a printer.

A very nice mod Sci.
You will have to let me know if that project box will fit an 18650. It looks like a tight fit in the pic. (if you actually have an 18650, they are my favorite batt)

Thank you.
The lid of the box is representative of the inside with the connectors & on/off switch removed. The 18650 is just a little bit too long. Maybe if you cut a hole in the bottom & 'extended' that section of the box a little. BTW, in the pic, I got a little off-center.:) The 18650 is only about 1/8" too long.

8-o You mean it`s just that simple and here I was thinking those are high tech plastic pieces.
Thanks for the info on that. :thumb:
