Rayon is wick material. I've been using it for a while now and it totally beats cotton. It's fluffy like cotton but it wicks like crazy and holds juice much better. I'll never go back to cotton for wicking.

I am vaping 0.6ml of butternutz, 0.4ml of diy hazelnut, and 0.4ml of another diy hazelnut perfect mix! Butternutz truly is a special flavor. I just like it so much, and when I mix it with my hazelnuts.....it is just perfect! I think butternutz is the best eliquid I have ever purchased from a vendor! In all honesty since I started to diy....the only vendor I purchase eliquid from is Madtown

I've been enjoying the new Aerotank Mega with 1.5 coils ... I like simple and this is ... and very flavorful
but as you said Dino, the KFL 3.1 will give me even more flavor ... now if I can only save enough Honey Badger for a test
So, I remade my perfect hazelnut flavor! It took me many batches to get this perfect mix the girst time I ever made it. Each batch was great, but this exact is just wonderful! The thing was I made this perfect mix a while back at 10ml batches. Well, I remade it at 5ml last week and no matter what I could not get it to taste the same. My problem was I was adding too much flavoring, and it was canceling out the taste. All I could taste was really sweet with a hint of hazelnut. So, I only put 6 drops of vanilla cream and 13 drops of hazelnut. Normally I like to use ml measurements, but since the bottles have droppers and im only making 5 to 10ml of eliquid I just go by drops. I have a few different hazelnuts in my collection.....lol All is happy in hazelnutville! Haha
built my first coil on the 3.1 clone ... 3/32, 28 ga, not enough wraps as it came out to 1.7 ohms ... I overfilled it filling from the top, but it did vape well after I emptied some juice ... a pretty good build for a geezer with shaky hands and not so good eyesight
I've got some 26, 30, 32 ga so I will definitely try a few more builds ... I like the idea of being able to dry burn and keep a coil going longer than a pre-made
late at night after a few drinks, it's hard to tell which had the best flavor for me, KFL or Aerotank ... they are close imo, but KFL is slightly more intense, used Honey Badger in both of them
I do like the rayon though, it wicks superbly
and the 3.1 worked perfectly ... found a screwdriver that works ok with the slotted screws

Is it a straight up 3.1 clone or a Russian 3.1 clone? The fill hole is different depending on which one, but in any case I hear filling from the top can be a challenge sometimes. I have the Russian so the fill hole is on the bottom not the side and doesn't have the ballbearing that makes it crucial not to use metal tips when filling (or so they say). Well that will be very handy for when I make my road trip out to see ya one of these days. After a small shopping spree and talking with you, I can swing next door for a few.
That new mod you have is very cool looking. I think it needs to be my first mech. Can you see the battery through the holes in the side?
