Got my order today! Pink Ice smells soo good, I might just have to try it before it steeps, and thank you for the Berry Ice Cream freebie, it smells good enough to eat.

Oh, and thank you once again for the contest too! I can't believe I won some more juice! I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted to try, but decided on Twisted Pepermint, because I've never tried that flavor before. So exited to try all my new juice! :D

Long, hot walk to the mailbox was rewarded: I got my Madtown mail today too. Almost ordered pink ice, but decided against it because of the menthol. I actually like menthol, but prefer to add it into things myself as there is no steep time involved (or very little, anyway). You can always add it, but you can't take it out.
Please let us know how you like it.

In addition to the free bottle I got for spending 8 bucks, they stuck in TWO free15ml bottles! I have more bottles still in-transit, but right now my Madtown list is as follows:

-45ml Vanilla Custard (30 of that is pre-steeped so I can try it right away, thankfully)
-15ml each of:
Going Nutz (2 xtra shots; smells outrageously good)
Cherry-Lime Slush (1 xtra shot; I asked for xtra limey goodness and it smells like I was obliged)
Pink Bubblegum (1 xtra shot. Been searching for the perfect bubblegum, Bazooka/Fleer type, not bubbleyum-type. This has a chance of being it.)
Lemon Pound Cake
Lemon Meringue Pie

Can you feel the love? Good business, good friends, killer flavors, and a lot of mid day inappropriateness....

I need to stop ordering from others though lol. When there's a 30% off or greater special in the deals and steals thread for q company whose juice I Havnt tried I tend to place an order. Its getting out of control. At least I've narrowed it down to several vendors I adore. Madtown at the top. I'm not just saying that.

I'm basking in the love right now. The Vanilla Custard flavored luuurve :)

Wow. This pineapple is awesome! I never would have chosen it, but will definitely put it on my buy list! I don't know if these are supposed to be steeped or not, but this one tastes great right out of the package! (I haven't tasted the others yet)

Is that the Fluffy Pineapple?

So I got a phone call from the Wisconsin State Journal today asking for a bit of my time. They are putting together a story on vape shops in Wisconsin and how we feel about the FDA trying to regulate the industry. Some of the things this reporter believed was the truth is crazy. I explained the whole juice making process and ingredients used. He thought that Formaldehyde was sometimes used. Well I had a lot to say and after two hours I hope some of what I said will make it to the paper.

Great work :thumb:

I'd write down everything you remember telling him, and prepare a firm but respectful counterpoint to be mailed in to the editor, just to be safe. I'd also (I sometimes overprepare) have a nicer 'thank you for letting our voice be heard' version if he stays accurate and faithful.

I have my fingers crossed. I plan on quitting nicotine completely... Someday but vaping is more comfortable for me then smoking so I wish to continue for a little while yet. Hopefully this will help to dispell some of the odd news I see floating around about how vaping is bad. We all know it's not 100% healthy... But Formaldehyde and some of the other stuff I've heard... /eye roll.

So he did zero research before calling vape shops? That doesn't sound promising. I hope he doesn't twist your words horribly.

I think there was an article posted on ECR (yesterday?) that showed the amount of formaldehyde (and other "horrible" chemicals ecigs are claimed to produce) exhaled when vaping was negligible compared to the amount exhaled during normal breathing.

He said he was going to use some of my direct quotes in the paper. So we shall see. Keep an eye out and let me know if you see anything.

Good point. I will definitely be giving him a thank you if he keeps his facts straight I even invited him to come to the shop and see how juice was made and to meet the customers that come in. If he was to hear some of the story's from some of my older customers (older meaning 60+) on how e-cigs have changed their life.

I was apparently the first shop he had called. I think he was going to talk to the other two big names in Madison as well.

Definitely. You'd do well to make sure a few of them were around at the planned day/time.

I going to wait a few day's then call him back to remind him of my invitation. I won't have to worry about the older guys. They are in every other day just to talk and drink coffee.
