Hi everyone.... I've just joined ECF, and just wanted to introduce myself...
I live in Yorkshire, UK, and am 71 years old.
My reason for taking up vaping was, in the first instance, because I have a number of conditions which give me a lot of physical pain, and having heard about the possible pain-relieving qualities of (other stuff), I decided to have a go at vaping (Other Stuff) oil.
This is definitely helping, but I think I need to improve my technique and my equipment.
I was a smoker from the age of 17 until around when I was 40, and I managed to quit.
I started vaping with the G2 Vape Pen, using the mouth-to-lung inhalation technique(which I always did with cigarettes, anyway). I have since then, bought a EGo Twist variable-voltage system, and most recently I have bought an Aspire Nautilus Mini with a variable airflow and variable voltage battery, but I've not really got to grips with that yet.
I also use the flavoured, nicotine-free e-juices just for a change, and because (Other Stuff) oil is expensive.
I'm anxious to get the maximum pain-relief from the (Other Stuff), so will be really grateful for any advice you can give me on this.
Heck.. I've rambled on for far too long!... so I'll stop now.
Looking forward to meeting you all, as I learn about the whole vaping 'thing'.
Cheers...
Andrew.

Hello and welcome to the forum @Andrew Rolls. Glad to have you here!:)

Unfortunately forum rules prohibit us from discussing the liquid/oil product you mentioned. Here is the reason why: Why we don't allow drug talk

Do you have any questions about your setup we can answer for you? I have used both the Ego Twist & Mini Nautilus.

If you are interested in learning more about e-cigarettes (and all the parts and pieces) below are some blog posts by ECF member @Baditude that I highly recommend for someone new to vaping.
Here are a few more links from New Members Information <= Link covers many topics. Here are two of them:
eLiquid/Juice

PG = Propylene Glycol - the "flavor carrier" of e-liquid. A secondary source of "throat hit", but not as strong as the nicotine concentration. Some people have a sensitivity or even an allergy to PG. It's very thin.

VG = Vegetable Glycerin - the "vapor maker" of e-liquid. Used as a sweeter in many food sources, and also as a skin emollient. It's very thick. Often labeled just "Glycerine"

PG and VG are often used together in different ratios in e-liquid. For example, a 50/50 PG/VG ratio. Many juice vendors offer a range of different ratios as far as PG/VG.
