^ This! I vape everything at about .5 ohms, and I can see the oxidation on the battery top within a few days... If I don't clean and apply deox, I'll get misfires or low power hits where I have to spin the battery a little to bring it back to life. I pretty well have to clean my battery and contacts along with applying noalax once a week to stay ahead of it... and I vape about 6mls a day.

You wouldn't by chance be using VTC's, would you?

Good point. I use VTC's and the magnet does pull those forward. I slide my door off the top because of this.

And yes, with my VTC's the magnet just slightly pulls it forward if I slide the door down... so I forced myself the habit of sliding the door up as well.

The reason I knew that was the fact you had oxidation problems. Not to say that is the only battery that has that, but it is the worst battery out there for it though... IMO the worst battery on the market performance wise...

In all of my grands the magnet pulls VTC, LG and AW batteries forward but I've never had an issue with firing.

I have never noticed the magnets pulling my aw batts I must have some junk magnets or I dont pay attention

I'm with Rob on this one... I have been using LG HE2's vaping @ .6Ω and have no oxidation or magnet pulling problems... Just saying... I do use De-Ox-It Gold on a monthly basis the same as Rob...

Yeah I've never noticed it before but because of this post I tested it and sure enough. Push the battery back all the way and then slide the door up, it pulls the bat out to the door, but like I said it's never caused me any issues.

You did mean, slide the door down... Just checked and I stand corrected!!! As long as I slide it downward. Though in reality the battery only moves maybe 1-2mm on mine. Its not far enough to cause a misfire.
