A brief scare

So as I sit here at work, I put a few drops on 36mg unflavored PG into my Xhaler (801), followed by a few drops from a mix of many different flavors resulting is a unique, fruity flavor. (Kind of like what happens when you put a handfull of skittles in your mouth).

Fired it up and I felt a puff of pressure...last time that happened, one of the attys popped! (In fact, it was a brand new one from nhaler. I never even got a comment back from the email I sent regarding BOTH of them being DOA. And Yes, I'm too cheap to pay to ship them back so I just took the hit)

Atty is fine, I'm guessing it was an air bubble. Anyone else had this happen?

Been using 801s for the better part of 6 months and have killed at least 12 attys. That said, no i have never felt a puff of pressure at all. Hmmm....

RIGHT when my 510 atty frys. It also tastes like peanutbutter flavored fireworks.

I have felt that puff of pressure. What the hell is it.

I thought my batteries were going nuclear.

Kinda freaked me out.

Ive never felt that but could be that with a lot of juice in the atty could cause that when it did pop.. It would scare me thinking it was a batty issue.. lol

That's so weird. I had been planning to post something asking about the exact same thing. I didn't know how to word it to make it understandable - explosion is a little too extreme but puff didn't seem appropriate either. Have had at least four atties start doing this on me. I toss them when it starts, it feels like they're about to explode. That may be a little dramatic but it kind of scares me. Anybody know what it is?

Wow that sounds freaky. I've never had that happen. Wonder what's causing it? I haven't killed an atty yet so I don't know what that's like.

I get that pop on a brand new Dura/510 atty a few times. It's the thick primer bubbling I think.

but it scares me too!
