So after reading up a bit on the forums here, I decided to go out and get an ultrasonic cleaner to speed my steeping. Although i did not read through all 2000 pages on this topic, I got the jist of how it works. I found a UC that had heat, and can run 1 hour cycles if desired. So I opened it up, popped the tops off of some new vapemail and put them in and turned it on. BIG MISTAKE!! After running several cycles I noticed the glass lid had quite a bit of condensation stuck to the underside. I opened it up to check on my juice and to my dismay they condensate had been dripping into my bottles!!! I ruined about $90 of untouched untried juice. The UC DOES work for quick steeping I would just like to warn people to leave the caps ON. If you do feel it necessary to let it breathe, leave the drip top on the bottle so the water cant find its way in there.

If anyone knows a way to save my juice please let me know. It still vapes but it roaches my throat and lacks flavor. my 100%vg now looks like 100%pg

Oh that blows and thanks for the warning. I haven't pulled the trigger yet on a UC. I do the 5 second microwave burst followed by the mini frother than into the dark or into the atty.

So sorry you had to be the teacher of this lesson.

I am doing much DIY and when a mix gets added to incorrectly it's usually over and goes into my "MishMash" bottle. I would think the only way to rectify the condensate into the bottles is to compensate by adding the exact same flavors, in proper proportion which of course is impossible without knowing the secret recipes.

I would have probably simply poured out the top liquid in the bottles thinking the condensate was on the top and floating on the mixes. Maybe poured out as much as a quarter of the bottles.

So sorry again.

I am so sorry you had this happen. Although I have read that it is wrong, I also do the 5 sec nuke and did it for months before I knew any better. It has worked for me. Surely someone can suggest something so it will not be a total waste. Again, I am so sorry but appreciate you posting this so it may help others. That is really what ecf is all about so thank you. :)
