I want to share my steeping process and let some of the more experienced people here let me know what they think.
First thing is I use an Ultrasonic Cleaner this is the model I use Amazon.com: Hagerty Digital True Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner Machine: Health & Personal Care
It has a 3-59 minute timer and has been working quite well for me so far.
So this is my process. Start with 5ml sample of new mix. Run through UC 2 59 minute cycles then leave cap off overnight to evaporate some of the alcohol. Next morning starts day 1 of a week normal steeping capped on. I shake the bottle here and there and smell check it. After week 1 I run 2 more 59 minute cycles with a small rest in between and then its good to go. I have noticed that if I use the UC along with a good week normal steep that the flavors combine better than just running it through the UC a couple of times. I figure with this method I get almost a month and a half of steeping in a weeks time. Also using technology along with good ole fashioned steeping, to me, makes for a better finished product.
I am interested to hear some thoughts and opinions on this so feel free to set your keyboard free.
