I'm considering building a dna device for myself and I had a couple of questions that I couldn't find answers to:

Does anyone know where to buy a spring loaded or adjustable 510 battery connector? I'd prefer to not have to wait for it to be shipped from China, if at all possible, but I'm curious. The only ones I've found are fixed pin.

Is there any benefit to using silver wire rather than copper? I know a lot of audio guys who swear by it, so I'm curious.

Just use copper wiring, the benefit of silver won't make up for the price difference.

True, I just wondered if there was going to be a huge or noticeable difference. Depending on where you buy, you can get a few feet (more than enough for a mod) for not a whole lot of money. SPC (silver plated copper) would be even cheaper, but I'm not sure if you could find that in solid core (and not sure that it would make a difference solid vs stranded).

..make one....or of course modify one you could find in radioshack

I'd love to make one...how? How would I wire an adjustable pin? Maybe it wouldn't make a difference, I don't know.
