A couple of quick ?'s

i could get a month and a half on a single boge cartomizer,
what I do is take a needle and stuck it through the hole and blow from the top part until all the black gunk goes out of the metal screw end, then when i see a light shining through the hole, the cleanings done and i would vape some more.
as the vision egos, i would just clean them once a week, i would rinse out with water, shake the vision a couple of times, rinse it with more water, then dry burn it until the coil burns red and the gunk is burnt out.
at the moment I use vivi novas, and i have three different kinds of tops with different ohms so I just switched them whenever.
But when I first started using vivi novas out of the package, i was happy enough to graduate to something better than the prior two.
but now what I do, I clean the nova heads with water, pat them down with tissue, and take a needle and scrape out the gunk, then dry burn until the coil turns red. but since I was too hard on the scrape, I destroyed two of the vivi nova heads by scraping the wick a little too hard and what happened was when I try to dry burn it, the coil doesn't do anything.

So now what I do is just rinse the head that I have with water, and just take my needle and lightly tap on the gunk then dry burn it then lightly tap on the gunk some more and dry burn some more until I see all the twisted coils burn up.
because the wick is circled by the coil 4 times, so when it's dirty, only the two middle ones light up red, while the sides are covered with gunk. so I just clean the sides of it off with a needle gently so when I dry burn it the sides light up like the middle ones.

then usually helicopters would circle around my house after and dea agents would start busting down my doors and I drop whatever I'm doing and go,
"what's up guys oh nothing goin on here just a virgin vapor party by myself with myself."

heinz... for the VN's, I found a good inexpensive little tool that really helps clean off the wick heads if you use a gentle hand.

At the drug store in the dental section... buy a bag of Dentek Easy Brush Cleaners (narrow tapered) and carefully use them to rough up the gunk on the wick coils and then follow up with a vodka bath, rinse and/or dry burning to get the rest of the gunk off. I'm having other problems with my VN's, but the Dentek brushes work really well, they're the perfect size for getting into that small space!!! Never thought about it before, but after reading your last post... they may work on the boges or smok techs. I'll have to try it when I get a chance. Give em a try... you may really like them too!

oh I dont use the boges anymore, I got my vivis and I am not coming back to those things. I've had enough of boges, but what I would love to get in my shipment is the mini vivis, those look awesome.
what kind of problems are you having with your vivi's ?
and as for anything alcohol related I wouldn't wanna use that method I used to be a hardcore drinker n i dont really plan on touching anything liquor related haha.
but my needle/poker is about the length of four toothpicks and I use a mini snake flashlight hooked up to the bill of my hat and i think it suffices, I think it will be a waste of money to go out and buy miscellaneous cleaning things for my vivis that's just too much lol. for the price I can go to Annette's site and get a replacement head, or halfsies on a 1/4 ounce bottle on some vanillys.
i never tried the smok techs, but after vivis I dont think i would wanna go back to anything else.
the next new shipment of replacement heads of my vivi heads what I'm going to do is rinse it with water, and dry burn the plastic off the wicks then i'll put my juices in. the first time I cleaned my vivis i had an exquisite change of taste. I was shocked the vapor was doubled, the flavor was clean, and it went in and out like snowflakes.
besides I don't really know where those new heads have been, and i love the method of dry burning so that's what I'm going to do and I know it's brand new why would you wanna dry burn something that's new, but Aha!

edit : so as soon as I wrote i dont use boges anymore, all my vivi heads blew out and now im back to my same boge that i've been using for months+

Hey heinz i got sick of the Vision Ego's too. I loved them at first, but they're just too finicky, and i got tired of cleaning their butts all the time too. I had tissues lying all over the place twisted into little faux Q-tips.

I got a mini ViVi from Annette a few days ago, and i'm LOVING it. Wow, what a difference.

Sooo funny! I know exactly what you're talking about cuz I had to do the EXACT same thing and it made me really sad to lose so much of my precious VV juices!!! Ran through so many paper towels and always had to have a bunch on hand... I even put a bunch in my car in case one of my components sprung a leak!

Bundles, your description painted the picture so perfectly!

Hope you have much better luck with your new Mini VN. You will love the sheer fact that they don't leak at all - that's wonderful in itself! As someone once told me... try as many delivery methods you can till you find the one or two (or even more) that work perfectly for you. Gotta try the Boge's and the single coil Smok Tech's as well, there's absolutely a need for either of them and you'll pick the one that you like best.
