I'm still kicking around the idea of getting a 3.5 ml tank. I watched Snow's videos (thanks - very informative and easy to understand), and see the replacement cartomizers on V4L's site. How often should you clean the tanks and how often are users having to replace the cartomizers? Less often than regular blank cartomizers?

I think I'm going to make the jump..... Now, for a sale

Hi linrag,

I don't know much about this Snow fella or his videos but if it's ok with you allow me to jump in and respond. :)

As long as you are staying with the same flavor I go months without cleaning my tanks. The Tank Cartomizer have an amazing lifespan compared to standard cartomizers due to the fact they stay saturated. The only chance of burning a cartomizer is during the initial filling process.

A 3.5 ml Tank holds approx. 1.5 ml in the Carto and 2.0 ml in the tank. After the initial filling when the juice in the tank gets down to the bottom simply fill the tank back up. Depending on your juice (Thick VG, Cinnamon, etc.) you can expect to repeat this process 20-30 times which translates to 40-60 mls before you will need to replace the cartomizer.

This is a substantial increase in Cartomizer longevity compared to standard cartomizers.

P.S. You are very welcomed, it's always a pleasure to help out. If you have any questions after you get your tank please let me know I will gladfully help out in anyway I can.

Go big or go home, Linrag. :D Get the 6ml tank instead -- you'll need to refill it even less often!

Just think of it: A nice 6ml tank of Wow Cafe Mocha (which WILL come back in stock SOON), just sitting there perched on a nice big-mah battery, just READY for you . . . READY and WAITING . . . no muss, no fuss, no topping off . . . :D

Yes, they are a tad big when perched atop a VT XL or Diamond XL . . . but trust me, you won't even care!! :) After the first day, that beautiful combination will look like only one thing to you: satisfaction!

Ok now the carto tastes dry ...what do i do ?

Did you drip juice directly into the top of the polyfill?
Did you take the dry hits to get the suction happening?

In other words, did you watch Snowdragon's video?

Me, I use a syringe to add approx 3/4 ml of juice directly into the carto, then add a few drops to moisten the top of the polyfill, then I cover the battery end hole and suck 2-3 times.

uh yes yes and yes first thing ...i think i somehow fixed it by putting a few more drops in carto ,then filling it a little more ...i dont know ...just wasnt sucking juice into carto but seems fine now .I don't use syringes ,don't want syringes in my house and they are not that easy to get in california anyway ....:) Just hope this isn't a wonky one .

Cool, can't imagine why it didn't work first up. I understand completely your aversion to syringes. I use them, but don't like having them in the house. I'm just too lazy to wait for all those drops to absorb  If it isn't quick & easy, I don't want to do it

Glad you sorted it out Nancy.
