Ok so for those of us that clean our cartomizers, we have all seen Snow's video on expected use from day to day before cleaning. At the time I think he said something in the vicinity of 3 to 5 ml before a CoolCart needs cleaning. For me this has been fairly consistent. At about 3ml my draw gets tighter and the vapor production declines. Of course this is with a sweet style juice.

That being said. These new tanks are holding between 3.5 and 6 ml each. Which with one fill all ready exceeds my cartomizer cleaner routine. So the question is; what are the expectations on cleaning a tank cartomizer. I am guessing this has something to do with how often it drys out etc....

Thanks in advance from a n00b.

It does have a lot to do with the carto drying out. Dual cartos in tanks are quite different and last much longer, on the average 8-10 times longer. The build-up in the cartomizer rest solely with the atomizer. A burnt-like residue will collect onto it. After a couple of days of use you may have a drop of two drip out the battery hole while refilling and notice it has dark flecks in it or the juice itself appears a little darker.

Like a standard cartomizer you will notice a change in the flavor which is a sign that it's time to pull that cartomizer out for cleaning. After a few cycles of use (use, clean, use, clean) you may notice that the vapor production has dropped off and the vapor seems cooler. Congratulations! You just got your full money's worth out of the Cartomizer because the atomizer is dying.

Some juices are a little rougher on atomizers, we don't all vape at the same rate or the same juice, so carto longevity will vary. But expect extended use from your tank cartomizers since there is no possibility of having a burnt carto and no opportunity for the juice to dry out and leave a resin-like residue on the polyfill.
