Searches!? The Devil you say! :p I think it was more for those normal members who don't understand or had never known about those rules so they dont wonder why they are suddenly "silent" on other areas they normally werent :)

Yeppers! That and a reminder I'm lazy.

If you're unsure where or what you can post, you could just... ask.

I know it's an outrageous concept, but it has been known to achieve results from time to time. :p

BUT... that would take away my " Oh, I'm so sorry, I really didn't know" card.:sneaky:

Share some of your angus info with the rest of us here, Free. I actually did email Misty about a few things. I have been a member of PIF from day 1 and am still pretty sure that we can PIF. The fact that we can't discuss anything FSUSA related even in PMs is a little confusing. I have had several friends ask me what the SA below my name is all about and I am not really sure about responding on that question via PM. Also I know that we are not allowed in the classifieds but think that we are able to respond by PM if we are interested in something offered through classifieds.

Ok, newb question here. What exactly is a "Supplier Associate"?

I don't understand what it is either and I went back and reread the OP. If supplier associates aren't employees and don't sell stuff, then what are they and why are they still treated as suppliers? Do they get compensation for advertising for a company on their websites/blogs and that makes them vested?

No. We are strictly volunteers. Moderators may be a more fitting title. I think that some of the site restrictions placed on us are a bit unfair considering that the only part we play is helping with this forum. Answering questions, keeping out riff raff (not really, that would be a bouncer lol). If we were paid employees I would understand the site restrictions a little more.

LOL I would think you know more than we do. :) The confusion comes in because most if not all of the other vendor's associates are paid staffers. In our case we are just FSUSA junkies that have ordered so much juice that David assumed we would be able to handle most questions asked so they can spend their time taking care of the orders.

Of course we can't be called Mods because they are appointed by ECF. So we are the nearly blind hoping to keep the totally blind from falling off the cliff. We are still figuring it out, waiting for clearer instructions from David. But bottom line we are NOT employees, just here to help with the sub forum.

We also don't do advertising of any sort anyplace. I don't know if the others have blogs but I don't. It's not that thing where you get commissions for sending people to the site. I don't know how that works either. But it's not part of our duties.

You know, how can you betray me type of thing. But I was always recommending only two juicers anyway and I can't go to the places where people ask about hardware or who has the best price on this or that.

Someone asked about a comparison of the EM 306 LR attys and Cisco's. I would REALLY love to give that poster my impressions of the two but that would be a violation of the rule regarding posting about other suppliers stuff without their express permission.

From my PM with Angus, I understand that we can be on other suppliers threads if we have permission from that supplier. Like, I have always followed the REO and now the Phidias thread. I just pm'd them, explained what was happening, and neither had any problem with me continuing to post there. Angus also stated that he didn't see a problem with me doing a review on the Phidias when and if I so choose. PIF is also a go.

I think not pushing FSUSA juice elsewhere is the main thing to keep in mind and, let's face it, there's plenty of Junkies that already do that anyway. LOL :)

I know but it does make it hard to PIF when most of your juice is FSUSA.

Yes, as long as we get their permission we can post on their threads and sub forums. Anyone should know if you go through the trouble of asking, you aren't doing it for devious reasons. :)

As with reviews also where we CAN even review FSUSA juice as long as it's in the juice sub forum review section. However so many FSUSA junkies are doing it we don't have to. LOL

Oops I'm just repeating you. Can you tell I'm sleep deprived? LOL

Free - This is good to know. Thanks! Re. the permission part, I entirely misunderstood when I read the restrictions. I thought that if I wanted to post in the REO thread, I had to obtain permission from David. LOL!
