Crickets again... What's everybody up to this mornin?

last night. 2 monsters and some 9mg in the Rampage got me goin today. Now I'm bouncin off the walls like Ricochet Rabbit.
I'm hangin' out. Not much to do for work... got the minions settin' stuff up. I'm right there with ya, Hans... about 4 hours of sleep and none of it good. Now I'm sittin' here at my desk with a jug of coffee and 15mg Peaches and Cream in my Derringer on a fresh .26 ohm build and a VTC fresh from the charger... things are getting better.
My minions are all out on the road. Sittin here bored. I think I'm gonna have to fire one of my guys today. That always sucks. 
I used to run a pressure washing company. Most of what we did was washing cars on big car lots. The pole lights on those lots are like a siren's song to crickets. They swam in by the thousands, then get run over by the cars pulling i and out all day. A carpet of dead crickets (like 20,000 or so) is just about the worst smell on earth. Just behind a chicken farm.

LOL! I could imagine... a lone cricket is no big deal... but once you get a bunch of 'em together the smell just gets amplified exponentially. The only thing I've smelled that was worse was when we had to dig up the septic tank..... proof that my little sister's s*** DOES stink! I even dragged her out of the house to prove it to her!

I run the warehouse for one of the biggest electrical contractors in north Tx. I'm a tool guru I guess.
I'm a superviser for a test facility at a big name oilfield company. We test down-hole oil-field tools after they are built to make sure that they can withstand the harsh environments down in the wells. We have several large pressure vessels (over-sized pressure cookers) that we use to abuse the tools. Basically? I break stuff for a living... best part? When I break it, I don't have to fix it!

Don't get me wrong, I love the Coast Guard and what we do. But I can get out in a few years and make triple what I do now without the laboring politics of the military.
Yeah, well my last job was in aviation. Electronics to be more specific. I had to fix broken corporate jets. That was a crap job... I was also an aviation electronics tech in the Navy for about 10 years. It takes a college degree to fly and break a plane. It takes a high school diploma to fix it... smh
Who said anything about working... I'm hanging out here and also car shopping online... LOL. Not a bad way to 'earn' a paycheck...
actually, if i don't have a new cafe opening going on (next one is in new orleans area in november), i do a lot of work from home - remote conferencing, admin, etc... cuts down on travel expenses covering 16 cafes in this market
