I know I'm posting a lot, but I'm too proud of this one not to post. Out of my brother, sister, and parents. I am the first person to graduate from college. I know it's not a specific degree, but a General AA. It's still an amazing feeling. Just got the diploma in the mail today. I've met a lot of people in school. Mr. Russ even helped me pass a class a couple semesters ago. It was an interesting experience to say the least. To think, I never planned to go to college, but when I was medically discharged from the Army I decided to go.

Nicely done, Danny :toast:

That'll stand you in good stead for the rest of your life. The opportunities it opens will mean a lot to you and your family (you know you got the grandkids to make for your mom, right?).

Thank you :rickroll: <-- how I was when I noticed something from the school haha

I ended with what I considered to be a pretty good GPA. 3.38. I tried to keep it at 3.5 but some math courses and science courses hurt me a little bit  Next step try to go to Canada and get everything settled so I can work up there. So grandkids when that time happens in a few years, will be born up there. Oh, and buying a ton of winter clothes since I can wear short sleeve shirts in winter haha and I'll freeze up there. My dad is already passed out from drinking, but my mom can't stop smiling about it. She just wishes I could get a cap and gown picture since there isn't a graduation until December or May.

Make a stop in Stowe, Vermont on your way to Canada, and go to the dump. Yes, go to the dump, because all of the rich ski-folk that go for the slopes of Stowe throw away tons of nice and barely used clothing. But all the clothing gets sorted into a room, and is available for free to anybody who wants it. I've gotten many amazing winter clothes and jackets there, for free. It is both sacrilege, and heaven on earth.

I'll bet they're happy, and they have every right to be.

Head west when you can, Danny. Ontario can be bitter cold. Out here in lotus land, you'll find it a lot less demanding.

Will do haha, she wants to move over to somewhere in BC later on.

Will do, will need to screenshot this to remember the place and go up there and do that. I think I have one hoodie that my girlfriend got for Christmas. That's pretty much the extent of my winter clothes. Kind of crazy that happens there, I've given clothes away, but never seen something like that.

Hit me up when the time comes bro, you got my digits. There's that, and I know several life changing thrift shops, where everything is a dollar or two. If you know the right places to go, winter clothing can be cheap (so long as you don't mind that it's second hand, but the thrift shops in question take the QC pretty seriously)

Hell yeah and the chance to meet Sloth in person :) I don't mind second hand unless it's all torn to hell haha. As long as it saves money I'll all for it. Not sure which way I was going to go up there. It was either through New York or Detroit. I was thinking of selling my car and my dad and I would take the camper up there. Might be able to convince him to go see Niagara Falls. I don't think my BRZ would do to well in snow, plus I don't have the first clue of driving in snow. I never have before.

Where I'm at is pretty far east of Niagara, but I am in NY...the bulk of life-changing thrifties are over in VT, but there's a few nearby me, too. (and VT is close to here, relatively)

Thanks, I had my doubts through a couple semesters. I have a year of the Cyber Forensics degree done too, but I got bored with it. I was never want to care about school. Even High School I wanted to drop out haha and now i have a degree from college. Shows I can start something as hard as college is and finish it. It felt like a dream until I received this today.

Thank you, and yes sir haha. I went there in August last year for the first time. It was amazing there being 70 degree summers. Umm, I mean (Hold on I'll go to Google) 21, yeah there we go :D , 21 degrees in the summer. That's our winter temperatures here in Alabama. I think today was 98 degrees, or rather 36 degrees and that's our average summer day. I don't know if I'll ever learn Celsius and Kilometers :p
