Hey Guys,
Looking for an alternative THAT WORKS to disposable jokes they sell in 7-11, I purchased a eclipse ovale and that was horrid as well. I Just purchased a Lavatube. I bought a tube tank and a a smoktech dct from seperate vendors.
The lavatube and the tanks both work fine. I am not getting the 1-2 days vape times other have talked about. I am being conservative and actually getting about 8 hrs. This not being so much an issue as I have ordered 2 additonal batteries. I had in the past prior smoked 1+ packs a day for 19 years as a matter of contrast and idea of use. Thanks to vaping I have remained easily off the analogs.
My questions are:
With both the smoktech and tubtank , I have watched pbusardos video, (thanks phil your reviews were educational and informative, I used them to get an idea of what I wanted and needed) on how to fill a tank carto and for some reason I am getting flooding whenever I fill either tank. I assume I am doing something wrong. I will post my procedure of refilling
my tanks so that other may point out my failures.
I take my tanks when they get low (I refill when the liquid reaches just above carto punch)
Unscrew them and remove the drip tip and then remove the top cap of the tank.
I pour liquid into the tank (not the center of the carto) about 3/16ths of an inch before the top of the cap touches the liquid.
I replace the cap, then replace the drip tip and screw back on.
I always end up with flooding and then must position the air bubble over the carto punch and blow from the battery end with a paper towel on the end to clear the cart.
What am I doing wrong here? Over filling or something else?
Second question,
I purchased additional batteries for my lavatube last week and on many websites that I looked for battteries the vendor did not mention the composition.
I know from the ECF important information section that we should use safer chemistry protected batteries
I did purchase AW IMR 18650 1600mah batteries. How would I know the composition of the battery when it is not stated Lipo Li-On or Li-NM.
Also does anyone know of higher capacity batteries safe for use in my unit? i saw some 220mah batteries and such but dont know if they will fit so I bought the standards.
Man two weeks into real vaping and i am already drooling at some of the shiney mods you guys have. Must be the adhd or something but my black looks sad next to the nice shiny chrome you guys are sporting
. I feel another mod coming.
