I dont think i have enough posts yet to post in the appropiate section so i hope no one minds me posting here. i am planning on buying a sigelei zmax v 5 very soon. I was going to order from myvaporstore but they were out of stock. Fast tek has them but i have not done business with them before. Are they a good supplier?

Also I just read the battery safety sticky. What batteries are recommended to use with the sigelei and who has the best prices for them?

thank you

Hello and welcome. You do mean Fasttech, right? Just checking. Many have used them, the only issue is they are in China
and shipping could take awhile. As for batteries, you'd do just fine with AW IMR's or SONY VTC4's, not really sure about cheapest prices though. RTD Vapor is a trusted vendor though. Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor

For safety, even though it's a 15w, go for a Sony VTC4, of an EFEST(Rewrapped Sony lol), or a Samsung. MtBakerVapor actually sells the Samsungs pretty cheap. Also Fast Tech is cheap, reliable, but sometimes they take FOREVER to ship because it's China and you have to deal with the products getting through US Customs, and also FastTech does not keep a lot of their products "In Stock" and the product says "Stock in 5 days" which means it will take 5 days for the supplier to ship TO FastTech, then they wait 5 business days themselves to ship, then you have to wait the additional 2 weeks for overseas shipments. In short terms, a simple order can take up to a month to ship for a single item.

With Fasttech, everything is great so long as you order parts labeled authentic and you're prepared to wait 4-6 weeks for shipping, especially with anything that has or holds batteries. Generally speaking, my turnaround has been two to three weeks, but I occasionally get faster shipments from them (6 days, once). I don't order from Fasttech unless I'm prepared to wait a month or so... sometimes the savings are worth it, though.

haha true I probably should have listed my budget limit. $89 is about $9 bucks too much for me. But I just checked VapeNW and they have it for $40 bucks and some change.

Heres a link
Zmax V5 by Sigelei

It does not give a lot of info on the batteries though so I am unsure if I may need to buy a different set. That battery thread kind of scared me haha. But I'd definitely rather be safe than sorry. I am also unfamiliar with the clearomizer it comes with. I was going to buy another protank 2 but if it is reliable I guess that saves me some cash.

Thanks Savin for letting me know about Vape NW.

I ended up buying the sigelei and it arrived earlier today. its definitely a step up from my ego twists.Im still figuring out the displays and what they do, I wish the tutorial was a but more thorough. I also cant figure how to turn it off. I know it will end up something simple i just keep glancing over. All in all Im glad i bought it and will probably pick up another one unless something else catches my eye.

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep my sigelei nice and running?
