A first impression on the Janty eGo
Well, i just got the eGo from Janty Europe.
Contents of the current folded carton (Later it will be delivered in a presentation box) :
1 Manual
1 Dura Atomizer
2 black eGo batteries
1 Black Metal Cigar-look-alike-Covering
5 cartridges Ruyan4
1 USB Charger with 420mA Output Current 4.2V output voltage
1 500mA USB socket adapter
5 Janty Incense
In the preorder package were 3 or 5 bottles of liquids to compensate for the missing presentation box
I am not exact here because I have since ordered 2 bottles on another order, maybe
Harry merged the two orders.anyway, nice compensation for a pile of paper
.
A few facts:
Capacity and voltage: 600mAh 3.7V
Charging time: 2h
Diameter of the batteries: 14mm
Length of battery: 71mm
Together with 510 Atomizer and the cart a total of 117.5mm in lenght and 35gr
For comparison, the standard 510 is 112mm long and 9mm thick 13gr difficult.
On the instructions I had a blackened sentence noticed, curious as I am, i removed that with a bit of alcohol,
and could read as follows: Voltage and Resistance: 3.7V / 2.2 ohms. Well not exactly the greatest discovery of mankind
.
The battery of the eGo is beautifully crafted and sturdy ecpept the button made of metal. The button is translucent smoky plastic,
sitting in chromed metal ring on top of the battery and is illuminated by a white LED, practically the entire fingertip shines
red everytime i press the button.
The button is not sunk, but it raises only 1mm out of the body. On the chromed endcap is a little Janty logo.
With pleasant pressure point of the probe confirmed with a gentle click the control and apparently has the indication in the manual entegegen
no Zugbegrenzung.
Performance is on par with the dura on a medium sized battery holder. No more and no less, but slightly more variable:
Unlike the dura/510 battery the 4 slots on the atomizer Connection are twice as deep. Dura 1/2mm eGo 1mm
I think that's to compensate for the loss of ventilation through the metal covering, leaving that completely off
provides an very light draw. One or the other will probably leave that thing off because of this.
However the airflow can be adjusted by tightening / unscrewing this cover more or less.
Using the 901 adapters from heaven-gifts the ego can also be used for G220, DESE901 and KR808D-1 atomizers.
On the G220 it may be necessary to punch a little hole 4mm from thread end. the covering can only be applied if those cartomizers were stripped from their deco wrapping.

For a 600mAh device the eGo is really small. Unbelievable that i vaped the first battery from 10:50 - 18:00
and i am not a lightweight vaper. It has not left my hand much in hat timeframe, and everytime i put it at the table
it didn't take long to fly back in my hand. btw, it looks good standing at the table, I love table-top units
The batteries can and should only be charged on the included USB charger, in Dura-, 5 /10 port multi-, or other chargers the e-Go just doesn't fit,
because the ego battery gets is to wide. charging them at 150mA wouldn't make much fun anyways.
I would also warn to use the eGo charger on standard 510/Dura batteries, because the charger pushes 420mA load to them.
I am a little worried that the atomizer heats up much more with the covering on, i think to remember that mik said in the preview video,
it wouldn't hurt over time, we will see.
My first impression today is therefore very positive, endurance and durability of the battery, switch and paint are of course not to judge after these few hours.
With 600mAh the eGo enters an area dominated by medium mods and pipes ... As far as I know.
And in my opinion it does a great job considering the price for the starterset.
only the small Dura/510 carts are limiting the fun for now, drippers can drip as they like, the battery is sealed and
the covering is not making it more difficult than on any other 510 device. And maybe we get some bigger dura Carts soon.
I hope this review was a little help, and not to much hassle to read. Its only translated and adapted a bit on the fly from my german 1st impression on ERF.
