A heads up about CVS humco glycerin

I have been having problems with vapor production since I got my rocky mountain vapor liquid, so I have been sifting through posts and troubleshooting. I cleaned my attys and am now looking to get some vg to put in the rmv liquid. Anyway, I went to CVS to get some today, they didn't have it in a small bottle, but said they could order it. It was humco brand, and I have seen a lot of posts saying this stuff was good. The pharmacist said it isn't vegetable glycerin though, it's animal glycerin produced while rendering pig fat. 8-o

Oh, and can anyone recommend somewhere online to get VG they are SURE is vegetable glycerine? or any other tips for increasing vapor production.

that HUMCO glycerin is exactally what i use it the pharmacy section and it works great, and theres nuttin wrong wit animal glycerin

I guess it's one pharmacist's word against another, but here's a member of our forum who is a pharmacist, he says Humco Glycerin is vegetable grade glycerin.

I found "NOW" vegetable glycerine at the local vitamin store.
Four ounces for $5, or a big bottle for $10 (maybe twelve ounces?)
I imagine a health food store would have the same.

Wiltons glycerine is also an option. Check in your local Michaels craft store in the cake decorating section. I don't recall the price, but it was very reasonable.

Yeah I am vaping the Mocha right now and it is seriously not up to par with the vape that comes from GoodProphets, Ruyan Direct, or HealthCabin's. Ugh.

Got some vg at a local craft store in cake decorating, thanks everyone. I know glycerine is glycerine, but I still don't like the idea of putting something made from pig fat in my lungs. Then again anything is better than the alternative (smoking). I also thought it might matter to both vegetarians and Jewish people. Anyway, the vapor problem is solved, my 24mg juice is now 18mg and there's a new problem. Anyone know of a big chain store that carries LorAnns flavors? The stores I went to only had oil based flavors. I know the internet is the best place, but I don't want to pay shipping and have no patience right now.

Wonder: I'm in a small town so I have to get everything online. I've ordered LorAnns and they ship quickly but someone on this forum recommended Capella Flavor Drops so I tried them and they're great. You might want to give their website a look (I don't have enough posts to post their URL but it's logical using the name). From what I've read on the forums, any candy flavorings in a candy or cooking supply store or department will work as long as they're not a heavy oil-base.

I found a place on ebay that sells Lorann flavoring in groups of 5, 12 and 24 for less than if you order directly from Lorann. You might want to give ebay a look. USP glycerin is USP glycerin. It could be derived from plants or animals. Either way, it is safe to use and consume.

If it bothers you because its animal-derived, NOW brand is derived only from plants. No matter what you do, you want to see "USP" on it. Not food grade, USP.
