I once caught a Pike and thought it would be good eats. Wrong. Every other fishing story I got is just fish, drink, bbq, drink.

fresh water trout, lemon/butter pan fry.

i once split half a cow with my sister. i have no idea how much meat i got, but had to buy a third freezer. you haven't had good beef until you've had it fresh.

a side of beef(1/2 steer) is roughly 400 lbs of usable meat..yeah, you needed another freezer LOL...
