So she started off as a beautiful copper vein, I was stubborn and didn't seal it, got very dark and wasn't happy.(my own fault). So I sanded her down and painted her a nice silver, that never came out how I really wanted and it just never felt right in the hand. Now I decided to just bring her all the way down and do a brushed look. Not sure what she'll end up looking like but I have high hopes. Still a longish way from being down.

I actually LOVE the way the door looks just like that!

Eventually, I can see following in your footsteps...I have a black wrinkle (getting some chips here and there) with a SilverVein door (also unsealed and dark, but I like it like that).
I won't lie I was thinking of leaving it as is and just ordering a 2nd reo. I don't think I'll ever refinish the inside because 1. The copper vein still looks fresh
2. I think it gives it character.
I just need a nice looking reo to convert all the people at the vape shops haha.

That looks GREAT! I love it. My favorite REO is a TRA that had the old radius on the back and I sanded it down to be like the newer ones, had Rob mill the cup to LP and install a new 510. I just give it a good scrub with a green Scotchbrite pad whenever I clean it now. To me, what you did there makes that mod more truly "yours" now
