Xevape 3d printed dna200. Think this is the last 3d printed mod I'm going to get. 3d printed is just not as refined as I want nods to be nowadays.

I was wondering about xevape's 3d printed vs the 1590b dna 200 mods. Is the 3d box wonky in some way or is it just you don't like printed mods right now? I am thinking hard on getting ether the printed box or the big 1590b 2200mah, but leaning towards the 1590, not sure how I like the buttons on the printed one or the discoloration I have heard about on printed mods. Any input on XE would be great, thanks.

The mod works so far no hiccups on the chip. It's light weight. Taller than the VS but skinnier.

The back cover is slightly darker than the front and there is a little bit of blue dye rubbed in the white buttons.

Back cover wasn't lined up correctly, which I could just adjust myself. But I couldn't make it completely smooth on both sides. After careful inspection, it turned out the the wall of the main body of the mod was ever slightly pushed out because the battery was just a hair too big.

Now it's not a deal breaker at all. But if you have OCD then it might bother you.

I think most of these things is due to the printing and dyeing process and that's why I said this will be my last 3d printed mod.

I didn't choose the 1590b because after looking at some pictures I couldn't find one that had the 510 centered correctly on the mod. And the Hammond lean would have driven me crazy.

I have the Xevapes 3D printed mod and I had to disassemble it and modify the fire button because after a few days it started to hit the ribbon cable and the screen would go off every time you hit the fire button.

Ugh, well that is grim news.

Oh that's not good. He still provides lifetime limited warranty correct?

All I see on the site is 90 days, another reason I have been holding off a bit. 90 days for a $300 mod is a little sketchy.

"Each XEVape Box Mod comes with a limited lifetime warranty. It is non-transferable and does not cover abuse or normal wear and tear. The warranty covers cases where the manufacturer defect is ‘obvious’ and ‘not from usual wear."

That was his first paragraph in "terms and conditions"

But I also saw that 90 day.

I did ask him over eBay when I was interested in the 1590b about clarifying the warranty and he did state that it was lifetime.

Ah thanks, good to hear. What I have seen from XE, he seems like a lifetime warranty kinda maker.

Here is another DNA 200, don't think it has been posted.

Out of all the dna 200 mods currently out there, what is the best or your favorite? The opus was created by a guy from my hometown and i have seen good things here about it. Whats the dna 200 mod you are looking forward to the most(that comes out soon)? Just trying to get a better idea on these and narrow down my choices. Thanks.

Littup and the Hobo mod. While I already have two dna 200 mods I'm a pick those up too because I'm not even gonna kid myself by saying "I don't need them" and "I have enough", we all know that .... never works.

Would love a Hobo, but not even sure how to buy one, and the litt up 44, can't remember his name but the person taking emails for the pre order list for the 44 was friendly.

I was at vapemania last weekend and dog mods had nice DNA 200 2200 mah boxes, I missed out on the handful there. Also, the guys from Home - Box Mod Customs partner of Jwraps said they have a DNA 200 box coming by the 14th for I am sure he said $160. He talked me out of buying their sx350 box saying it was too expensive and wait, nice of them. Lol

Mind = blown. (noob lol). The idea that I can customize how my mod looks? That's got me super excited. Gotta keep an eye for when those ones come out. :D

Of all the commercial mods I've seen, Lost Vape. I always wanted an esquare but 40 watts doesn't do it for me anymore. A big esquare with a DNA 200 inside seems just right.
