Ok so i haven't had an analogue in 6 days! feeling really good ,the only problem is my partner seems to think im a bit zombish and moody but i dont think i am, probs just a withdraws problem from tobacco that should pass soon ? I think its a really subtle difference but not sure
Anyone had a similar situation?
Congrats.

Are you sure you are getting the proper level of nicotine?

It might br a good idea to getva second Atty and tge next higher nicotine level and vape tge higher nicotine in the morning with coffee and after dinner.

The withdrawal symptoms or affects are different for everybody and I was a different person for sure. From my own experience it should last around 2 weeks before the level of the nasty chemicals added to analogs is low enough to not be a factor any longer. Just look at the bright side in my opinion you are half way there! Congratulations, Good Luck and Keep Up The Good Fight!

Give it a month at least, your body is detoxing from all the crap and you may go into some withdrawals as it's not just the nicotine that cigarettes contain that creates dependence issues, your body is used to a LOT of poisons and needs to get used to not be getting them.

Yeah im on 12mg at the moment but noticed i am better on 18mg and 24mg MTL vaping

Sent from my SM-A500Y

Yup, don't sweat how much nic you need starting out. My first cigalike was 48 mg and my first proper vape was 24 mg mtl. There is nothing wrong with using a higher nic juice and staying with that for several months than be at all worried about lowering the nic and not getting cranky and moody. It's your body and your past smoking habits that need to be adjusted for, not others. So vape away on 24 mg if it controls your cravings.

There are certainly stages when you start vaping. I found I had a lot more energy for awhile. Then I was getting to much nic so was running around like a headless chicken, anxiety and such. Then kind of woozy. Had to drop the nic level. Also noticed more effects from caffeine and sugary drinks, so started drinking decaf. (something about the liver working better)

For me it was a balancing act for 6 months or so, but I was a 42 year heavy smoker.

Yes, it is a balancing act. I had to purge the bad chemicals and find a proper nic level. Actually, after a bit, I noticed that the nic level was tied to my equipment and how often I vaped. At early morning coffee it was higher nic to get it into my system. Pretty much like a 2-3 cig chain smoke. But, in the evening in front of the TV, I had to go lower nic because I had my mod in my hand.

Just a kind of turbulent/learning time for a month. New equipment with different characteristics had influences, too.

Just vape when you have the physical urge. Getting rid of all those bad chemicals is the task. My doctor, and dentist, saw positive changes.

It all depends on your delivery system your using. If its a clearo(1.8-2.5ohm coil) and ego pen then 24 should be good enough to start. Protanks and nautilus type attys(1.2-1.8ohm) then 18nic. Getting into lower ohm attys like subtanks 1.2 or lower then 12 nic and start decreasing the nic as your body tells you with nausea, headaches or feeling sickly. You don't have to inhale every vape, the mucus in your mouth will absorb the nic also. Don't hit the vape heavy in the morning or you'll end up with a headache since it takes longer for vape nic to absorb than ciggy nic so no more Ahhh feeling after that morning puff like you use too with a cig. The detoxing has already been explained and don't forget the lung butter that might come up from quitting smoking as your lungs begin to reject the ciggy YUK in your lungs.
Try not to heavy vape before bed cause Nic is a stimulant and insomnia will follow.
