I guess I don’t understand why anyone would want to use a T3 from SI on an eGo battery. The newer 3-piece T3S(not available from SI) is compatible with an eGo batt and IMHO works better. Also, the replacement heads are much cheaper and are a lot more available. You can get the coils from many different vendors instead of just one.

T3s from Smokeless Image are designed to work only with their X2 batteries and Spinners. Be careful pulling out the battery post on a T3. It holds the coil wires in place.

In the case of my friend he just thought it looked like the regular ego t3 clearo but he didn't know I was using a volt spinner.
The new kanger t3s is nice..I will probably pick up a few for my ego cc. But I'm debating getting a protank 2 mini instead, that way I can use it on both the ego CC and Evic. I wasn't expecting to even get a mod but I found a good price on one along with a protank 2 so I said why not.

I'm getting tired of the nicquid juices so I need to look for something else.

SI makes good stuff, at first they were the only place I bought from. Until I realized their stuff is kind of proprietary and wanted a little more.

My friend has an ego battery and was using the standard clearomizers. He wanted to try my bottom coil t3 from SI and it would not screw on completely. Most of the SI stuff is 808 threading although the x2 bottom coils seem to have the bottom base like an ego clearo would have.

My ego CC kit came in today so I will try them tonite and see what happens. Most likely like you discovered you need to pull the post down to reach. But I'm keeping my SI spinner as a back up.

X2 clears won't work on ego batteries because they use the 808 connection. The ego threading is just to help it attach to the x2 and spinner batteries but is not part of the battery connection itself

Delivery devices that are ego only threads are sometimes compatible with both si 808 devices like the spinner and x2, and 510 ego devices but not always. It all depends on the positive post in the middle. 510 ego devices have a female positive that is sunken, where as the 808 ego have a raised positive post.

The connecting pin on the SI t3 is slightly more recessed than regular t3's. The reason being that the 808 connector on the Volt x2's and Spinners is a little longer than the 510 connector on a standard ego. SI's bigger batts have ego threading and an 808 connection. Standard ego's have ego threading and a 510 connector.
