My mother always says, "This, too, shall pass...." and I always fall back on that when I worry about something like this (vaping too much at first) and she's right. I started June 30th (40+ year/2PAD habit) and haven't had a cig since about the 4th day. (Smoked a few the first few days because I just couldn't believe that I didn't want one. These e-cigs were just tooooooo much of a miracle for me to really believe!) Anyway, the vaping constantly will ease off pretty soon. I say just go with it....but get to the spot where you can afford to be obsessive with it so you don't worry about the money. Filling your own carts (re-filling your own carts/cartos) will help you not worry about this new FUN habit costing an arm and a leg. Then just follow your urges.

When I'm at home (with the PT) or in the car, I have one in my hand/pocket constantly, but I notice I hit it a lot less frequently than I did at first. And....I go for longer times between sessions. I can go for hours without craving anything when I'm in a place where I can't just sit and vape. (I teach school and could never smoke around school before, so was conditioned to not craving a cig while I'm in the classroom. lol.) Anyway, get it to the place where you can afford it (good juice/re-filling your carts) and relax. Good luck!!

AT first I loaded up on nic..chain vaping, high nic, the whole mess. Well, I've found that starting out, that nic hits ya differently. Its not a HIT, its more of a nudge, so you keep adding, as they don't have the booster chemicals like analogs. It takes some getting used to. But remember those days when youd light a fresh cig, get occupied, and look back a minute or 2 later and have to flick the ash and take a drag? Well, e cigs get that way permanently. They don't require a quick 10 hits. I puff e cigs just like I was occupied constantly. A puff or 2 every few minutes, consistently. It takes a minute to get your groove down, but once you find it, you relax a bit, and just take it easy, and enjoy the experience, less at a time, but more often. Just do what feels right, and keeps the analogs away :)

ive been hitting mine hard for 3 weeks now.... Sometimes I can feel it in the viens in my head...LOL and I wonder am I puffing way to much on this thing.. I've noticed sometimes my stomach feels upset by the end of the day too... But I can breath easily and I feel good about it so far.
It's too new for any real long term affects of vaping to be known for sure....but what we all DO know for sure is cigarettes were killing us no doubt.... So we feel better now and we're all hoping for the best....

In time I will start trying to lower my nicotine levels as well, but for now I'll vape 24mg juice all day if it will keep me away from cigarettes...

BTW what does nicotine overdoes feel like? what are the symptoms? Now I don't have to get up from my desk to go outside to smoke, so I know I'm hitting the eGo way more than I would be smoking, it lives in my hand.... Yes that scares me a bit....

If you overdue the nic, then you won't have ANY desire to smoke. You'll be topped of well. You'll also start feeling nauseous. But those first couple weeks off analogs, you'll be getting used to e cigs, and how the nic hits you. Its like going from a super charged 8 cylinder, back to a nice 4 cylinder. The nicoine takes a good 10-20 seconds to start feeling it through your system, unlike those marbs that were drowned in chemicals designed to be the nitrous for the engine, that you feel in 3 seconds. I smoked carltons and I couldnt even exhale without feeling the rush from my first drag. (you could also see they were spritzed in chemicals under a black light). So its takes getting used to the easy going-ness of the pure nic. after a few weeks, youll be used to the transition, over the side effects of quiting and kicking tar, and all that. When the sore throat is gone, your over the hump. Until then, you vape till your satisfied. You'll find your own groove soon enough. Don't stress your personal needs between now and then. We all chain vaped constantly our first month or so if you want a quicker answer. Youll noticed that a 2 pack user will consume 2 ml of liquid daily, Usually same nic level as with cigs. 24 for reds, 18 for lights, 12 for ultras. If you dont see the same correlation to what your intaking, or a least close, then adjust it. Nic level replaces the cigs, ML's replaces the packs. The rest is just getting comfy.
