It seems that every day quiet a few times a day I lose focus completely. I mean I know I'm talking to someone but by the time I regain focus, which could be hours, I have no idea what we would be talking about other than bits and pieces.

This has only started happening since I started ecigs. I'm not like scared just a little worried, it's happening less and less but it's still there.

This happen to anyone else?

I think (just me) that based on how many days you've been off cigs, you're still withdrawing. Nicotine is known for increasing accutness, you probably aren't getting as much as you used to. I've had the same effects as have many people when you read through the forums.

I started smoking really young, and both my parents smoked so I was around smoke for awhile.

One of my friends tells me that cigs have a sort of anti adhd side effect. We started laughing because I may have had it all along and it never surfaced 'cause of the MOAI's.

I started laughing slower ha ha....ha.........ha damn it! just looking to see if it's normal or maybe I should go see the doc.

Your body may be recovering from the loss of the maoi effects of smokes. Loss of focus is one of the signs and in time, may bounce back just fine. You sound as though things are getting better, so hang in there. If things don't improve over time, serious thought should be given to the use of smokeless tobacco (not dip, but its safer Swedish brother snus). Some who have been longtime smokers or those who use cigarettes as a form of self-medication for depression/anxiety are at a loss with the purified nic in PV's.

I agree that it must be part of the withdrawal thing...
I'm just glad to hear there are others going through the same thing.
It's bothered me that I can't seem to stay focussed on much of anything lately.

I hope it gets better and is only a temporary issue cuz I'm diggin the whole e-cig (PV)
thing :thumb: and SO very glad to be 'smoke free'

If you're one of the "lucky" ones its a choice between going back to smokes, use smokeless or prescription drugs. Also if you're one of the lucky ones, it's a condition that is most likely permanent :(. I'm one of the lucky ones. Having used antidepressants, I'll take my chances with snus. Studies of Swedish snus, with over 250+ years of use, has found no links to cardio or pulmonary diseases or any type of oral cancers. It's regulated as a food product in Sweden.
But it's a choice we "lucky" ones get to make. Give it some time, then take the next step as needed :).

Nicotine is prescribed in cases of ADD. Just google nicotine and ADD, you'll be surprised at how nicotine is used to help our brains.
Just wanted to point out, nicotine that has been stripped of its alkaloids (what we're using) is a stimulant. It doesn't contain any of the psychoactive ingredients that promote the relaxed, calming effect :).

uggh never going back to smokes, I had one the other day due to faulty hardware. I think my wife was right in saying that I had become allergic to tobacco, throat swole, sinus' clogged and I was wheezing again, on ONE cigarette!

Thanks Twisted, I'll keep the snus in mind, although I'm not liking it either. I bought a can just in case when I started vaping.

Well the camel stuff is crap! I went through the stupids too! My associates kept giving me strange looks because I was leaving things random places and wandering off, walking into rooms and forgetting what was there for, asking questions and forgetting to pay attention to the answers. I thought I was losing my freakin mind!! Snus saved me from the stupids!!
