Congrats Andy. When I tried to quit before e-cigs, the casino and golf course was my downfall, but I was surprised both of them were no problem at all with the e-cigs. Do keep us posted and I'll be back to check this thread. Good luck and nice you can do it with no flavors. That is part of the reward for me. Love the different flavors.

Yep... it's Ecopure high, absent flavoring. I just need the nicotine hits on schedule. Unsure I'd care for flavoring but to each, they're own.

:2cool:

Oh, I thought the same thing. The thought of apple pie "smoking" made me shudder. That was until I was introduced to Blueberry Cheesecake. Then I found myself moving up to Raspberry Chocolate. Before you knew it, I was trying to score Vanilla Custard and needing my daily fix of French Toast.

All I need now is a safe to store my "stash". ;)

Sorry, Kids... this is Andy35244 still and most importantly, I am now 48 hours smokeless! I went through moderation hell today since the powers that be took down "andy35244" as it was deamed to be a secondary account. What made matters worse is that my original account (this one) had become banned due to inactivity. You see, I tried this once before and failed about a year ago. Be nice, moderators... you may have a potentially supporting member on your hands if you quit keeping my login from being so much work. And yes... my "new" and "old" pic is present from way back. I am retired US Coast Guard. Anyway, thanks to all for your encouraging messages (really, they have saved me a time or two while I could see them) and I'll report back successful after 72 hours! Love you guys! Andy

Congrats Andy. I tried to quit, cold turkey. Day 4 I was going to kill someone. Hubby bought me a cigarette looking pv at a convenience store and I vaped it for about 2-3 weeks. I found this forum and away I went. I am working on 3 months analog free. From the time I said "no more", I havent had an analog and I love this vaping. All the flavors, the different pv's...its great! I have nicotine levels from 8-24 mg, and about 20+ different flavors. I rotate daily and am looking into buying a pen style pv soon. Keep up the good work!

Congrats Andy...

The coffee and "adult beverages" were my biggest fears as well - I officially quit last Friday (05/27) at 9:30 and I was dreading Saturday morning's breakfast with friends - I stuffed myself with bacon & eggs and waffles and coffee, and while I did initially crave that cigarette after that whole ordeal, I just start vaping and I was just as satisfied.

Sometimes I still can't believe it when I see my colleagues at work go outside for a smoke and I stay at my desk or join them outside and vape.

All this after only 3 days!

Oh man !!! - i am so made up for you. Fantastic.

I hadn't caught any of your posts for a while and i was thinking....ahhh he didn't make it. So to see you post "Two tobacco-free weeks" is truly awesome.

It's weird how this forum kinda sucks you in to having great hopes for people you don't even know.

You're still in the game. Means you can win. Just vape vape vape your way to smoke freedom.

Very well done. ........... on to week three.

I am pleased to report that tomorrow will mark two tobacco-free weeks. Thanks for asking!

That's some good news! I'm rapidly approaching that point as well. I still can't believe (nor can my wife) how easy this has been. WAY better than any other cessation method I've tried previously (which is all of them, short of hypnosis and lasers).
