I also plan to get the TW multi pack of attys. I won't be able to before their special is over, but even then, the multi pack price can't be beat and they have the low bridge atty from my understanding. Hoping that once I get these two items, I can stop sweating so much.

I also have the lingering fear that I won't be able to get spare batts and attys in time before the FDA does their thing. Seems like a given almost at this point so want to try to have my supplies lined up before hand so I can at least have what I need to wean off the whole thing if I have to! :(
The TW deal is so tempting, but with my luck I'd get the bad ones.

I'm actually in pretty good shape with attys for a while, but still a bit nervous about the ban. I got the JS so I'd have something that takes regular batteries, but of course we don't know how long the Stick itself will last. And I would sure miss my 510 if batteries become unavailable. I went ahead and got passthroughs, but I don't like the performance with them. Puresmoker's PT is an option, I suppose, but that one is serious money.

For the car I just picked up a USB adapter for emergencies, but my habit is to have 2 PVs armed and ready before I hit the road, and a 3ml bottle of juice in my bag just in case. That works for my 1-1/2 hour commute; haven't driven further than that yet.

I agree with everyone that the daily routine can get to you. It does get a bit easier once you get more settled with your preferences, and into a routine.

New here hello everyone.

I was really lucky and had marg that did all the footwork for me and found out which device worked the best etc. I ended up with a joye 510 manual bought one for me and hubby even though he said it was a stupid idea but now you probably couldn't pry his 510 out of his cold dead hand. We just started on Friday (man that first charge sucks) and I just slipped up and had a regular smoke and well it sucked it was nasty, made me smell, had to wash my hands change my shirt and brush my teeth. I do not miss that about smoking analogs.

As far as the time factor I have been RYO wow since Jan of 2008 and that was time consuming and messy. Hubby was a 3 pack a day smoker and I had to either sit and roll him an entire carton that would last 3 days plus 2 packs a day for me or roll just enough for the next day. So I just take the time I would have spent rolling and fill up carts etc.

Money wise I did figure out that to smoke RYO analogs it cost me about 1.10 per pack only because i was smoking RYO pipe tobacco (which is longer and thicker cut then regular tobacco) since the price increase in April. Additionally we spent money on equipment rolling machines, parts for the machines things like that. However if we were still smoking the brands we smoked before I figured that we would be spending 197 dollars a week my purchase for my entire start up kit for both of us and juice did not even hit that. Yes there are a lot of things I want to try and will probaly spend money on.

However, I am noticing that my sense of smell is coming back air freshners that hubby bought last week that I could not smell and just said yes smells great I can actually smell. A candle that I spent 35 dollars on that I have never smelled is awesome. Another great thing is food tastes better although I think I will have to adjust my cooking skills a bit lol.

So all in all I would have to say that it is worth it not only because I am improving my health but for lots of other reasons which I am sure we all have both personal and not. But it is nice to walk around and not smell like an ashtray and not know it.

Cranky - Two words - SPARE BATTERIES!! I recently ordered 5 spares, and I plan to order 5 more soon. No more waiting for the spare to charge. (No, I don't have a pass-through, but it's on my wish list!) Also, get a stockpile (5-10) of spare atomisers. They'll keep until you need them. And you will need them. Welcome to the fold!

Yes to the spares, don't skimp on atty's, I had one bad atty kill 3 batts in a row before I figured it out! They go hot and start sizzling, next thing you know the battery is blinking and never holds a charge again! I wish I knew how to revive a sick batt. I heard there was a charger that drained and then recharges the cells..but that it is pricey as all get out!
