I mention it in response to Igetcha's humorous review of the gooseneck as the most pointless thing ever invented. You may notice I only mention it when I am talking on his threads..you may not.

As far as your comment about me hating most mods...well I am flattered you pay so much attention to my posts, but you are wrong.

Hey, I'm sorry if I offended, but when you roasted the GGTB and were subsequently called out by the GG family I said the conversation went too far. I have read the rest of your reviews and commentary because of the bitterness -- and yes, I always look at Scott's, he's my fave so perhaps I have run across that post topic more. Negative reviews are edgy but filled with pratfalls, huh?


And you can't tell him to close a thread or delete a post in his own subforum -- trust me, Imeo will do that on his own (and has) if it offends him!!!!

When I used to smoke I was the proud owner of a lot of Zippo's
I used to clean them change the wicks and maintain them in pristine condition..

There were a lot of cheap lighters which worked that did not need cleaning..
some of these cheap ones could also be refilled used and thrown away after a year or less than a year...

Yeah and all of them did ligh up the zippos and the cheap ones

But I did not care a bit about them because I wanted the craftmanship and the reliability of a zippo in my hand... The clcking sound the feel of that heavy metal in your palms it is different

And Zippo also has a life time warranty.. It is not advertised on all the sites where it is sold not even in all the stores where
it is sold.. You have a problem with it you send it back to the company paying the postage and they send it back to you repaired... (hhmmm that does sound familiar)

Well I guess you might have got what I am saying here..

There are a lot of lighters and there is the Zippo

Similarly for me there are a lot of mods and there is the GG..
If I am to clean a mod and to keep it working it in prestine condition there can be none other than the GG..

And the main reason people buy GG is because we all know imeo is working hard to invent new things (The things you termed very lightly as costly updates) and these new inventions are amazing.. (If you have a doubt if it is amazing , just try to come up with a new idea other than putting a few batteries in a soap box with some connector for an atty)

I would be waiting for all the new updates which are coming and if I have the dough to spare I would be getting them too...

I own many mods and even produce my own line of mods. Every mod seems to have it's own unique quality and beauty. Thee GG has the time standing durability and stylish good looks and that is why I own many GG mods. I admit I am not a super fan of the GGTB, I own one, but that is only because I have a rather elaborate taste and prefer to have more options and accessories available which is why I own many GGTS ( I have all versions with the exception of the nickel plated one which I liked the sparkle it had, but it tarnished much more quickly than the aluminum versions I have (and I'm DEFINITELY getting the stainless one ). I believe that the GG is the best and most dependable and beautiful mechanical mod in it's class, just as I believe that my mod is in a class of it's own among wooden mods. There are none that match the durability, craftsmanship and style all in one PV. I will be a loyal GG user for life because I know they will last throughout my lifetime.

Goldenkobold, you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that, but just because you don't like something, does not justify or make it right to bash and put out the nonsensical spew of a manufacturers product that has A1 support from it's maker to rectify any problems that may occur. After all, we are only human and sometimes mistakes or accidents happen in production. If you would have contacted Imeo or Bruce in the beginning vs. starting these nonsence reviews and bashing, you would have seen that they would have made it right.

These are my thoughts and opinions being not a fanboy but another supplier of mods that I consider to be art.

In light of the fact that I have been honoring Imeo's request not to continue this debate, and he is "muted" whatever that means. I see no reason for these posts directed at me or the continuation of this thread. If Imeo wishes to reopen this, at this point in my opinion, pointless thread keep it open and keep having other people speak. It speaks more towards the characteristic of the supplier than anything that I can do, that a thread directed at one person is kept open solely for the purpose of continuing personal critique.

Golden you bashed a manufacturer in open forum in all aspects of his enterprise which 99.9 % of people are happy with,what do you expect?

I wonder what would happen if I went and did the same in another manufacturers forum,chances are I be attacked relentlessly then removed quick smart,yes I may have my opinion but if it's not of the norm then I suspect 99.9% of happy customers will rise to defend it.

I was planning to stop responding to you Golden because I dont have time for this but I see that after bashing GG you want to start a bashing at me this time.
Ok, first of all you didnt asked me to close the thread, you ordered me to close the thread. Thats a big difference. Second, you made videos that are not acceptable as reviews and you say bad things directly or masked about GG all over ecf. Then Bruce asked you for a GGTB refund and you denied. Then after all these you asked me to replace your tube and the button and I was very polite to accept your request even if I couldnt see something wrong to the blur pics that you send me.
Also I send you a button that is 4 parts and you paid only 10 euros for it (you had to pay 40). Now you do a direct attack to me saying about my characteristics maybe because you saw that beating GGTB had not the results that you expected.

After all these are you sure that I am the strange person and not you?

I believe that if you want your name on the top of the list of reviewers you have to follow a different road. Beating someone will not get you anywhere. Please listen to my advice before its too late for your reputation.

From what i have read here its gone from a dodgy review to a full blown dig at Imeo.
The bit about the warranty gets me Imeo bends over backwards to help people who have problems even if that happens 6/12/18 months down the line and all for a 10 euro return fee to me thats good service as most vendors give you a 28 day warranty or like with the Provari as long as you own the actual mod 1 year now i know if i have a problem with say No122 i can get Imeo onto it and im like about the 3rd or 4th owner and i know my GG line has a lot of support and a continuing development line as most developers once they get a new product the old one becomes obsolete.
As for finishes the only finishes that i have owned that do not need a polish are my satin Provari and my black sdmkII all the rest suffer from hand finger prints and im sorry but even a stainless finish will become marked by sweat and grease from hands so will need cleaning, Nickles not the most friendly metal when it comes to being handled a lot especially in sweaty hands but it does hold up well, and i think the reason people go on about tarnish so much is that the GG comes with such a high finish to start with some people can't understand why it dulls so quick.
I have five GG mods with another three on the way with the exception of my TB which gets used quite a bit the others are my special occasion vapes i take one of my TS's when i go out.....why?
Because of the wow factor, everyone who see's it takes a second look or ask's about it and i like to think i've started a fair few people on the road to being cig free through Imeo's GG's if i was just using a tornado or generic 901 a lot of people wouldn't look twice.
And out of my five how many problems have i had.....err.........none even my little TB still looks good and fires everytime no matter if im using 3.7 or 6v and i always get out a TS if i fancy a little 7.4 extravagance.
If the GG line was as bad as you say i would not have bought so many in fact i would have stopped after my first i also know that i can take out one of my GGTS's and use it all day without any problem.
As for upgrades you pay extra for upgrades on other mods either via a higher price or as an extra at checkout at least Imeo gives you a choice and his upgrades are usually along the lines of something that will actually improve the device and was not produced at the same time so i like the fact they are an ongoing devevlopment and that Imeo continues to support his inventions instead of moving on and leaving them and the owners dead in the water.
And last but not least there's the fact that most any remedial(if any is ever needed) work can be carried out by the owner and its not hard to do as you don't require any fancy tools or volt meters or PC's etc..etc.. if my VV mods went .... up i would have to return them and that would take at least a 4 week turn around.
Im not going to stand up for anything that i think is crap but i will always look at other peoples views first to see if im the only one who has problems with a product before i slate it i just wish other people would take the same view

I've a GGTB, my wife has a GGTB, one of my good friends was so annoyed that I got this shinny mod that he ordered one immediately.
We have all experienced absolutely ZERO problems with them, we haven't arsed around with changing the spring, the buttons fires every time, and a quick wipe with any bit of rag and they're clean.
What's the problem? Well there isn't one would recommend this mod to all.

Essentially, a few shipped with duff buttons (springs being the main complaint.), and some were unaware that certain brands of cheap 17670 batteries wouldn't fit in the tube due to their wonky dimensions. This lead to hysterical criticism and defence of what is IMHO a handsome, inexpensive and functional device which would have been better handled by a simple email to the retailer, or using Imeo's lifetime guarantee.

I just ordered my first GGTB, and as I have found out about most mods out there, is that someone can find something negative to say about most mods, if they try hard enough. Personally I tend to not watch the all negative reviews, I don't see how trashing something gives you good tips or perspective on the device. I can't wait to get it in the mail in the next few days! My husband has been happy with his eGo for the 6 months we have been vaping and shown no interest in any mod till I showed him the GG's. Now I just have to talk him into getting himself the GGTS cause then its open season for me to get one too, lol! Maybe he will be so impressed with my GGTB that will drive him into getting one! Wish me luck!
