I saw a new mod, and I like the looks of its design. It's the Encom Voidray. Specs are comparable to many mods on the market:

Size (H x L x W): 86.5mm x 42.5mm x 32.5mm
Output mode: TC mode / VW mode
Output Wattage Range: 7W – 60W
Output Voltage Range: 0.5V - 9V
Resistance Range:
0.2ohm - 5ohm for general coil; 0.1ohm -5ohm for Ni200/Ti/SS coil.
If the resistance over 1.3ohm, VoidRay mod couldn't reach to 60W output.
TEMP Range: 100-300°C/ 200-600°F

But it has a nice look to it. It also appears to have a unique method of battery release, utilizing a button on the mod housing For those who prefer to swap batteries instead of on board charging, if it works well, that could be a boon......and it just looks snazzy :p

Saw it here: 60W ENCOM Voidray VW/TC Box MOD W/O Battery

I am LOSING my nic tolerance! I can't handle anything above 1.5 anymore, and mostly I mix 1mg nic for the juice that I can have in the morning. In the afternoon, it's zero. If I have more, I get that rushing adrenaline feeling, AND I start getting heart palpitations again, which have stopped in the last few months. I had them all my life, since I was a little kid, and thought it was something wrong with my heart, but apparently it was growing up in a smoke-filled house, and then smoking 2 packs a day from the day I turned 16 years old.

It's kind of nice to not have those anymore, because they really lay me out flat (my blood pressure drops horribly and I feel faint until it quits, which could be minutes, or 17 to 20 hours). On the other hand, I do seem to be getting more forgetful or scatterbrained, plus I'm sloooowwwwwer than I usually am. That's because I'm not all hopped up on nicotine. I'd really like to bring my level back UP, but I'm afraid to because I don't like that adrenaline rush thing, plus I don't enjoy having those arrhythmia things that make me have to go lie down until they stop. I'm screwed. :(

It looks so comfy! I like the different colored buttons, especially the white with the blue. So the battery is released by pressing a button?

OMG, ROFL! Yes, see what I mean? I thought that's where I was. I'm so sorry, everybody please just ignore the crazy woman in the corner...
LOL, Lannie, I love you! I have done that very same thing. :) So what do you think of this mod? Doesn't it look comfortable?

thats what it looks like to me....no more unscrewing battery compartments, or magnetic door falling off :D
Genius!! I have always thought there had to be a better way, lol. Magnets are a HUGE improvement over having to unscrew the battery compartment with a tool, but still. It's not like accidentally releasing the battery would hurt anything, and I am all about easy peasy!

This is a tough mod, perfect for those that keep dropping or accidentally running over your mods with your car. It was pretty impressive, little thing can take a beating.

I know I regularly run my mods over, just for the fun of it

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
To me it's just another mod from China , i would prefer not to have a big button sticking out to change batteries , battery changes are as simple as it gets already .

Buttons look very cheap and i bet it will be priced very cheap as well , mods have been out that are as close to bullet proof as you can get already , waterproof as well , they do not sell well however , just gimmicks designed to get people to spend money .

Seems like they are doing a good job lol.

Unproven chip , go to FT or Focalecig , there are hundreds of mods that look like this.

well, you are more then welcome to your opinion...but did you actually watch the video? The abuse it was taking and still working? If the production model is as robust, that will be more then just a gimmick, but a pretty good selling point to many out there hard on mods (people like me who work with horses, construction etc...).
Also, I like the idea of the button for battery swap, IF it is as robust as the mod itself and stands up to repeated use....that we will only know after some time.
