i was just thinking that maybe somebody could come out with a desktop charging station that could charge 4-5 batteries at a time? my v4l batteries do last a long time but it would be handy to be able to do more than one sometimes.

That's an awesome idea. I'm all for that. It seems like I can't keep batteries charged just doing them one at a time.

I've got plans for that, but haven't gotten to it yet. I only have so many man hours to offer, and same for our manufacturer's engineers.

yeah i was thinking about it as i have my extralong in my usb and one of my long batts on the pcc charging and using up my otherone while thinking about it. but i really have to say i would rather have a multicharging unit. while i guess i could mod something. i would rather have something nicer than what i could coble together.

Looking forward to a multi batt charging unit as well. I'm always concerned about the power going off this time of year. Hey Leaford, how about a multi batt charger using a tiny generator?

You 'could' use a 5 port usb hub and 5 of the usb chargers....but an all in one unit would be nicer.

I doubt you could source enough current from a 5 port USB hub. 5 wall chargers in a power strip, sure. Five battery chargers from a single USB root? Sustained?

Haha...you're correct...a usb powered hub would never work.
But a wall powered usb hub should have power enough.

ooo, this would be a great idea! even just 2 batts at a time, though i suppose if you're gonna do it, you might as well DO IT and build it for at least 4. i'd SO buy this!

I would buy it for sure and get rid of all these dang power strips with chargers lined up on my credenza. The cleaning people think I've got something illegal going on here and they are afraid to touch any of it.
