I've only had pickled beets...hmmm. MK your cooking sounds sooo good!
What's poke n holler?
We're have pork hops with montreal seasonning (LOVE that stuff), horseymash and brocolli...mmmm.
Anyone here know a tastefully simple rep? Dd loves their strawberry rhubarb spread...we had it on monte cristos my sm made. I use it to juice up strawberries for pancakes. Nom nom.

Oh, I luv beets! I add sunflower seeds and feta w/just a littl sour cream and a grated apple ...... yummm.

You sure do eat some interesting stuff :blink:

I would love to find a way to be able to eat beets....

I think we are doing Taco Bell tonight.....

We had Applebee's I had the asiago grilled chicken.....not to bad.

Beets.....bleck!!!!

I didn't see the feta in there....I can't do that either....never could get into the Greek salads that are sold everywhere here....

Yes.....it's getting a little over the top with all the goat cheese, feta and blue cheeses that are being added to almost everything at restaurants, I've noticed. I like it, but enough is enough!

On the beets........ dinner's almost ready. I'm just putting them on some mixed greens with pine nuts on top and a dressing from scratch. The dressing is to die for. The beets taste really good and are still firm!


For all you naysayers: Eat Your Beets!
