Baked potatoes cooking in the bigger toaster oven. Corn of the cob on the stove. Son should be in to throw some steaks on the grill. When he does that the rolls go in the little toaster oven.
Final touch home grown tomatoes!
YUM

I'll probably gain a pound---especially if I eat a piece of apple pie for desert.

OMGosh...that sounds good!!! Especially the pie part :D

I cooked in my toaster oven too.

I'll have to give that one a try :) Spagetti here tonight

Note.....do not use cube steak....LOL It gets to dry! DH said we should try sirloin steak next time :) That's what he gets for telling me we need to eat this before it goes bad  Course I am the one that said ...no we are not making chicken fried steak...I am on a diet :D

Last night we had pinto beans, cooked in fatback meat, topped with green garden onions, cornbread and sliced tomatoes from the garden. I know it doesn't sound like much but it was so good. tee hee

That sounds so good!! Grew up on those kind of meals.

Last night I had salmon patties and macaroni and cheese, served with Coca-Cola and garnished with ketchup. Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream for dessert. I managed to go my entire disgusting-food-binge-cheat-day without eating a single vegetable. I love Saturdays.

No vegies!!! YAY...LOL

Smoking a brisket today. My son's favorite!

I like to take the leftovers and chop it up for sandwiches :)

Mine too! Except for slicing the garden tomatoes. I like to pick 'em, wash 'em and sit down with the salt shaker and go to town.

LOL. Me too!

When I was a kid, I would hi-jack the shaker head to the garden and proceed to eat as many juicy red tomato's as I could. My grandmother was not always happy about me doing that. heehee! A little dirt never hurt anyone, wipe 'em off on my blouse and go to town. One time I ate so many I had a acid rash around my lips.

Yep...love love me some fresh maters!

There's not a lot of fresh garden veggies that I don't like. Grew up on them. Beans included.

My great grandparents had a 1/2 acre garden!! They grew everything....lettuce, cabbage, tomato's, potato's, onion, carrots, radishes, green beans, crowder peas, bell peppers, okra, banana peppers, jalapenos, cucumbers, cantelope, watermelons..... When we went to visit in the summer we were put to work....LOL I remember spending days there while they canned everything. They even had apple, pear and peach trees on another 1/2 acre.
