I started vaping (again) about 2 months ago. As with everything I have no knowledge about, I went looking for a forum. I found E-Cig and registered only to find I have been a member since 2009! My how things have progressed. In 2009 the whole e-cig phenom was not too user friendly or technologically sufficient. I gave up on it then, but not this time. Here are my Top 10 rambling thoughts/advice for self (that's me) because it's early in the morning and I have nothing else to do.
1. Batteries run down. If the e-cig isn't vaping this afternoon like it did this morning, swap batteries.
2. Clearomizers are not lifetime devices. They have to be cleaned/rebuilt/replaced fairly often.
3. Cinnamon flavor (my favorite) requires #2 more than cherry, strawberry, etc.
4. Those little black mouth pieces will break off if you drop your e-cig (twice so far).
5. Vodka works much better than Jack Daniels for cleaning (but JD tastes better).
6. When I complain about how much e-cig items cost, my wife gently reminds me of how much I was spending ($250/month) on cigs.
7. DIY juice is the way to go. It is easy, much cheaper and if you don't think the flavor is strong eough, add some more.
8. Some brick and mortar stores know what's going on and some have no clue. Quit going to the clueless one.
9. Wilton flavors work better for me than LorAnn, but Lorann has more variety.
10. If you vape for a while and then bum an analog, it will taste terrible.
These are my opinions and I reserve the right to change them because I am wrong quite often................
Happy vaping!
