A newbie, grateful for such an active, friendly community

Two weeks ago, I Picked up a carton of Kamel menthol's just like the Wife has done once a week for years. The till Beeps, the cashier casually states " $63.50" and in my mind i knew it was time for a change. I talked to a friend about their blu, and was rather put off by their experience. However i decided to do some more research, and that's when i stumbled onto this site, and found a beginners guide to vaping or something to that effect and based on that, I purchased a kr808 starter kit, a bottle of juice and a pack of spare cartomizers.

I continued to read random posts about everything from juice reviews to problems with items; And i was amazed at how friendly everyone seems on here, seeing people trading and helping others is just awesome.

So, in short I would like to say thank you, if it wasn't for this site i would still be a sheep smoking analogs. I look forward to being an active member and helping to support this awesome community, been a bit less than a week but i haven't gone that long with analogs since my teen years.

It baffles me still when I think about how much I was spending to kill myself. When I started smoking, they were 35 cents a pack. I told myself that when the got to a buck, I'd stop. Two bucks, I'd stop. Long story short, I'm an incurable nicotine addict...now one who doesn't smoke, and without pv's I know I'd just smoke myself to death.

I thank the gods on a regular basis for vaping. I can't remember being able to breathe so easily, food has never tasted so good, and things smell so much nicer (bad side is some things smell so much nastier also!). Welcome, and happy vaping!

I know the feeling, kinda reminds you of an AA meeting. I was glad that this community looks out for the well being of it's members and welcomes everyone. I think it's great for the promotional and informational side of electron cigarette and vaping. The information you get here you won't be able to read in a book, it must be experienced.

Welcome!! Before I started vaping I was actually smoking cigs I did not like that had twice as much nicotine as I wanted just because they cost 2/3 the price of my old faves I could no longer afford. I was ready for a change!

Welcome, I am new too, can say four weeks, I started with one of those kits from a local store and it was really bad. Three weeks with an ego t and no one cigarette since the first drag, a was on three packs a day.
I learned a lot from this community.
