Yup Yup Yup they kick out some warm vapor Phil and are pretty good, try bumping up your voltage to about 4.6 and check em out then, they really kick it out and flavor increases more. What do you think about the clear translucent though compared to the steel, I happen to like the steel ones better but the one nice thing about those clear ones is you can pull the tube off pull out the filler and run everything under hot water and clean the entire carto and put it back together and re use it with a whole new flavor juice or the same one course but that's a nice feature with the clear DC's.

Ah good comment. I hadn't though about ease of cleaning by removing the tube. I may have to try that. I also promised someone I'd make a video of what it looked like over a period of continued use. Maybe I'll combine the two ideas.

thanks for the vid, mr b, love your work, very informative and funny
gotta have both to be successful, imo, lol

been wondering about these 1.25s

currently all i use are the 1.5 duals on my nimh mod at about 3.9-4.9v and i am very pleased

couple of questions for ya, please...

could i use these on my mod in the above voltage range ?

have heard you can go as high as you want with 1.5s but havent heard much about these 1.25s

really like the hv and may go up above 4.9 in future, around 6.0, just add a nimh, lol

would they be ok around 6.0 or should i just stay with proven 1.5s ?

i am still new to this and the power numbers continue to confuse me
it will come in time, i am sure, til then, gotta keep asking, lol

once again, thank you for your dedication, information and making me laugh

btw, i see youre sporting "the guns" today, way to go !
thats about all i wear, cut-off gray t-shirts, its all about comfort

have a good one !

Thanks! Not sure I have the ideal body for cut-offs (or for anything else for that matter), but they are super comfortable for me in the summer, so it's how I roll.

Thanks for the other comments as well.

Ok, so onto your questions:

could i use these on my mod in the above voltage range ?

I'm not sure about your mod or your specs and I'm really not in the business of making up information.

I can only assume if your mod is firing a 1.5 Ohm, it will also fire a 1.25 Ohm.

would they be ok around 6.0 or should i just stay with proven 1.5s ?

Not sure why you'd want to go that high on such a lo-res carto. I'd think you'd want a higher resistance carto if you're going that high up in voltage.

I'm not a high voltage vaper so it's hard for me to speak on this. I get enough VTF around 3.7V to satisfy my needs so I've never moved away. Maybe some day.

Perhaps some others with more experience can speak up here.

mwa102464 appears to be using these at 4.6V so maybe he can chime in.

I can say I tried it on my 5V passthrough which I use at work. It did work, produced even more TH, but I thought the flavor was "off" a bit. Maybe too much power here. On the 5V passthrough I use standard resistance Boge cartos. I'm really happy with the performance of that setup. Whenever I've tried Boge LRs on that PT, I get more of a burnt flavor.

So I really think you need to correctly balance your resistance and your voltage to get the correct level of VTF and not get a burnt taste and/or carto!

More power and lower resistance is NOT always a good thing! Not to mention that you're going to burn'em out sooner too.

Hope that helps.

thank you for the reply

i see what youre saying, it makes a lot of sense

i guess with so much new stuff coming out, its easy to get sidetracked, unnecesssarily, lol

the old saying is...if it aint broke-dont fix it

i am a happy vaper at this time and maybe i just need to leave well-enough alone, lol

thanks again mr b

wishing you all the best

EXACTLY!! If you are happy and you're not smoke analogs then WHATEVER it is you're doing is the right thing to do!

Even a not-really-a-review from you beats out most "reviews," Mr. Busardo!

Where did you get the 1.25Ω carto from? Directly from Smok Tech?

I know that Hoosier E-Cig Supply carries non-clear 1.25Ω ST DCs (and the 1.6Ωs). Good price too: $2 ea. [BTW, Vapor Junction also has, in effect, a $2 price on the Smok Tech 1.6Ω dual coils: $10 per five-pack.]

Now I'm going to run over to your Smok Tech Ego/E-Powers (14500/18650) review thread to learn more about that battery you were using. [I've already watched former President Bill Clinton's review.]

Thank you Sir!!

Yes, the cartos came directly to me from Smoktech. Did you enjoy the review from Mr. Clinton :)
