So rip off rebranders are a major problem in this industry. I'm talking about stuff like GreenSmoke, Green Nicotine, and other various shady mall kiosk dealers. These not only screw many people out of their hard earned money, but also some vendors such as Green Nicotine make claims that are damaging to this industry and feed off the fear that is spread by the FDA (prime example: "we agree with the FDA that fruit flavors are an unethical marketing ploy to teenagers and nonsmokers, so here at our company, we only have tobacco and menthol flavors designed with serious smokers in mind!"). Also, when people do realize that these are all scams, they have a hard time finding the good stuff. I've made a few threads about this before in other boards here, but I never thought a solution up until now. here's what I propose:
We talk to all the known reputable vendors who support CASAA, and, much like "USDA choice" beef, we make a label that says something along the lines of "CASAA choice/CASAA certified/CASAA reccomended, etc" and let the good guys put it on their packaging and websites. if somebody falsely puts this on their stuff, we threaten legal action against them, or if that's not possible, we take every opportunity we can to point out what lying rip off losers they are until they take our name off their stuff.
In addition to this, if this is financially viable at any point in time, we could have something to the effect of a "CASAA choice awards" show that could be broadcast online, and give awards such as "best mod", "best e-liquid" "best atomizer", etc.
I think this would be a fun way to separate the good stuff from the overpriced junk, as well as get us some more publicity. what do you guys think? good idea or over the top?
