a question for the folks that have a 650 mah echo auto AND a 1300 mah echo auto...

From a battery standpoint and not battery life - yes, I think they do. I started with the 650 then bought a 1300 as a backup - I actually like using the 650 more and the 1300s sit in a cupboard in case of a long trip or something.
On the whole ... yes. What I have noticed are slight differences in the the cartos. One is distinctly more "airy" than the other. It's not the battery ...it's the carto. I kind of prefer the 650 because it seems to fit in my hand better. I hold the 1300 more like a pipe and the 650 like a cigar.
For the non-e version, there is a difference in that the non black 650 is stainless and you can buy cartos in both stainless and chrome - not much difference but one is shiney and the other not as much. The cartos themselves are the same.
I have both the 1300 and 650. I interchange the batteries regularly. Never noticed any difference in the vape until I read this thread and tested each in succession. Now the difference is subtle but I think the 1300 is a little warmer. I have noticed that the 650 last me all day. As well as the 1300. So maybe that means I don't vape that much. I prefer the smaller size of the 650 because it's easier to manage in your pocket and in your hand.
Nope ... I'm talking about the Echo cartomizers. I've got two of them. One carto is distinctively more airy than the other one. The silver one. If I put it on the 650 silver Echo battery ... airy. If I put it on the 1300 black Echo battery ... airy. The black Echo cartomizer is slightly less airy regardless of which battery it is on. My assumption is (based on owning only two Echo cartomizers) is that there are slight variances in the cartomizers. No big deal ... I like them both. They don't punch out as much flavor like the Go-go/Go-cart though. The Echo-e has a more flavorful draw, is a little tighter, and of course is manual.
I'd really like to use an automatic Go-go some day ... if it ever exists.
I'm guessing the difference in the 2 carts is maybe the manufacturer? Here's another idea if that's not the case. My black boge cartos are only black because of a black sticker that's wrapped around the carto. I wonder if maybe yours is similar and the sticker is covering the inlet holes?

I don't really notice a difference in performance between the 2. (using the same carto on both)
The cartomizer doesn't have a paper sticker. I think there are always some variances in the manufacture of anything. If it was that bothersome I'd go buy some more Echo cartos.

Well whaddaya know ... I have one and didn't even know it. I Like It. Of all the Big Batts out there I think it fits my hand best. Very reminiscent of the dear departed defunct Elegant Easy 1300 XXL.
I got a ego-t in a contest and it came with the 650 mah batts. I already had some 900 mah batteries and after using those for awhile, the 650's seemed kinda tiny 
I've gotten used to the length of the 900, it's not too bad for me. I can see the appeal of the 650 though. It is quite a bit shorter than then 900. Makes me wonder if the difference between th 1100 and the 900 is about the same as the 900 is to the 650.
